Camp Runamuk is 3 bed, 3 bath townhouse located in beautiful Durango, Colorado. It offers in-town convenience but without the crowds and traffic. This is our well-equipped second home - not a typical "rental unit".
Durango is an outdoor recreation mecca, with year-round activities including mountain-biking, skiing, whitewater rafting, rock-climbing, and many more. The old-west downtown is full of excellent restaurants and shopping, and there's the famous Durango-Silverton Narrow Gage Railroad that takes you on a scenic ride to the active mining town of Silverton.
Camp Runamuk is a very comfortable place to call home while playing and "running amuk" in this wonderful town. You're sure to enjoy your stay. Bikes are provided, as are towels, bedding, wireless internet, satellite TV, DVD, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Super convenient to town and the grocery store, yet feels out of town and secluded. The interior is very cute and comfortable. Garage is awesome for large vehicles. Slept 6 plus a toddler comfortably and having 3 full bathrooms is a big plus. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. We did a lot in a short time - took the Silverton train, ate at many of the great downtown restaurants just a few miles down the road, went to Mesa Verde cliff dwellings, rafted the lower animas, hiked the trail just down the road up into the hills and had a nice time relaxing on the decks of the condo at the end of the day. Would love to return.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Had a great time. We ran the river, hit the alpine slide, moutain biked, and generally had a great time. The view is wonderful and the place had most everything we needed. Saw a bear next door so kept the accessable windows closed. Could use a fan or two. Overall would stay there again. Really nice and helpful neighbor too.

great view, very comfortable. had a wonderful time there. greeted by a bear in the front apon arrival, kids loved that, wife not so much. would go back. just down the hill to the trolly. river was fun to go down.

The pictures on this site do not do justice. This is a beautiful townhome and the location is perfect. It is just minutes from downtown Durango and a short drive to either Lemon Reservoir or Vallecito Reservoir. There is a trail for hiking just down the road and a grocery store close by. You could spend your entire stay in this place just relaxing. There is a balcony off the master bedroom with lounge chairs. The view from both balconies is beautiful. The area is quiet and very relaxing. We will definitely stay here again.
