Thank you so much for the lovely weekend retreat. Everything we needed was right here! We all enjoyed our time here and it was the perfect place for our families to meet for a birthday celebration. This place is so cozy and comfortable and very clean. Thank you again!

The cabin was just as I imagined it would be - very comfy and cozy. Everything was so clean and well stocked. Plus the location was perfect. When we came in from dinner last night there were 2 baby deer with their mama at the front of the cabin - priceless.

A lovely place! Found a bat on the umbrella in the morning-the kids were fascinated! Bear scat and deer scat in the yard made for fun scouting adventures. Though no actual sightings. Hot tub was great after our hikes! Thank you for a wonderful spot so close to Rainier.

Loved your place! What a great "jumping-off-place" for all our adventures at Mt. Rainier. Loved being close to Alexander's where the home-made bread is "to die for". Feeling very relaxed.

Your home is quite the treasure and we have enjoyed it immensely! From morning coffee on the deck, to hot tubbing it at night, and your cozy bed at the end of a strenuous day - it was perfect! Thanks for such a SPOTLESS house. I really appreciated that as well. Hope to be back again

What a great time we had! Our granddaughters enjoyed the stuffed animals. We took lots of family pictures and will remember with joy our stay in this lovely cottage in the woods.

We had a great time with the kids, the logs on the fire, the hot tub. Two things were missing though, washing machine and good broom. (Washing machine available for 3+ day-stays, now have a good broom - thank you. Management)

Just wanted to send you a note to thank you for your hospitality this past week. We absolutely loved Wildwood and were so grateful to have the opportunity to stay there. It was the perfect "basecamp" before and after our climb of Mt. Rainier. The entire team loved the house and we will be sure to share our experience with our friends in the climbing community. FYI - We did make the summit on June 26 and we all agreed that our motivation was to get back to Wildwood so we could sleep in those comfy beds and soak in the hot tub out back.

One of the best and most hospitable places we have ever stayed in. We will certainly be back again soon. Today we head up on Mt. Rainier for our second attempt in two years. With promising weather in our future the only thing that may deter our summit attempt is the yearning to get back to the Wildwood and crawl back into the bed inside "The Woods" room.

Wildwood is an amazing place. My sister and I searched for the perfect place to have our getaway weekend and we finally found it! Didn't know what to expect by looking at the the photos online, but as soon as we walked in we knew we would have an amazing time. And that this is the perfect place to stay. I think this was the best weekend of my life and it's so amazing that you share this with everyone.

What a beautiful and cozy place for our weekend family getaway! Loved the bonfires at night. Close to sledding (thanks for providing a couple of extra sleds.) Beds and rooms are very comfortable - plenty of room and privacy for our family of 6. We loved the movie selection and the kitchen with all the cookware and dishes we needed for our meals. We all felt comfortable here and enjoyed our stay.

This house is amazing, so cozy. We had such a great time. I love the way it's decorated, with each room having its own theme. We shard the house with another family. It was GREAT. We will be back REAL SOON.

Thank you so much for letting us rent the cabin over the holidays. It certainly gave Scott a look at why WA is called the Evergreen state! You sure were right about the ELK...HOLY SMOKES! We decided to take an early morning dip in the hot tub and saw a herd of about 20 elk go by. We thought we might see one or two way back in the woods; but had no earthly idea there was a trail within 30 yards of the cabin. They are a magnificent sight! Next time, we're taking the camera out with us. Scott was also thrilled with the drive up to Paradise. He said he can't wait to see the glaciers and, oh yeah, Mt. Rainier, when it's actually out. See you soon.

What a perfect weekend getaway! Love the open living area and the gas stove is amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain. : ) There were 6 adults and 2 kids (21/2 yrs & 5 months) who all enjoyed this space this weekend and we felt like there was plenty of room. So great to have 2 bathrooms! Thanks for sharing your space with ALL of us!

We got out of the rain and into the gorgeous snow-covered paradise. The kids were so Excited! We sat in the hot tub during an amazing snowfall & had snowball fights and made snow angels in our swimsuits. You can't do that just anywhere! It was great to be away from phones, tv, facebook, texting...it made everyone have good old-fashioned fun and actually talk to each other. WOW!!

The first time I walked in this cabin I fell in love. I did not want to leave. It was the perfect getaway, coming from the city. I had to come back for Thanksgiving so I did and it was the best, most memorable experience I've had. Thank you for everything!!!

Our family really enjoyed this mountain retreat get-away. I have some very fond memories of day trips up to the Mountain as a kid - now my kids get to experience the grandure and beauty of the "Wildwood Experience." We had a great Thanksgiving gathering in an amazing Winter Wonderland. We all are appreciative of the owner's hospitality in making us feel right at home! They are always so accomodating, gracious and giving. I bet they would even provide snow boots for you if you needed them! My hope is that my kids will someday bring their kids to this place of wonder and beauty.

We had a MAGICAL time here. The house couldn't have been more perfect. We hiked by day and laughed around the dinner table by night. The house is the perfect distance to the mountain. We'd recommend it to anyone and it housed all 9 of us quite comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and we loved the extensive video selection. The best part of our trip may have been this morning (July 31). On our way down from our early hike we saw a mother black bear and her two cubs. AMAZING!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this wonderful place. We hope to be back. (This family left me a WONDERFUL water color painting of "Mt. Rainier from Longmire" on a page of my guest book.)

We had a very relaxing stay here after a lof of sightseeing and travelling (from Oxford, UK). The area is very beautiful. The cottage is very comfortable and we enjoyed the barbecue and eating outside. We were here during a heatwave - low nineties temperatures, but the cottage was cool inside. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time vacationing at Wildwood. Our families created wonderful memories. One family from IN and one from CT. We hiked Rainier. Ryan took our boys to Muir on Sunday, they were very proud. Ryan and Tam summitted Rainier on June 18, 2010. YEAH!!! While the dads were climbing we went to NW Trek. Wish we could have spent more time. Thanks for the use of your beautiful cabin.

We stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The Borden Sisters have gathered up all their years of experience growing up at the mountin combined with their great sense of style to create a mountain retreat that is beautiful, charming and memorable. We enjoyed the deck with its party lights and then got into the hot tub to watch the woods and try to see if any deer or critters were going to come visit us. Thankfully they didn't! Then we came inside for snacks, wine and pie from up the road, to relax on the cushy couch and watch a movie. The bed was like heaven and very comfortable. We are sad to leave and will definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

Thank you so much for making Wildwood a place where the stresses of the daily grind just melt away! We loved everything from the knotty pine interior to the rich, warm furnishings, the cushy beds & so much more. The only thing we DIDN'T love was HAVING TO LEAVE! : ) Wildwood is both homey and romantic, and we loved our stay here. Thanks again.

We had such a great time here. Everything in the cabin has been recently remodeled, and besides being gorgeous, it is comfortable and has all the amenities we needed. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was very clean and so nice to relax in after a long day sightseeing and hiking around. It was obvious that the owners put their heart and soul into this place, and I will definitely return again many times, as well as recommend this to others! We took some nice strolls down the quiet country lane across the way, and also hiked down into the back of the cabin's property. It is nice to be so surrounded by nature. There were even deer in the yard when we got up one morning!
