The Inn of Nectar/Kokopelli Suite is a family vacation house located between Santa Fe (20 minutes) and Taos (45 minutes) on a hill overlooking the beautiful Espanola Valley of the Rio Grande. There are terrific views of the valley, and two mountain ranges from our hilltop gazebo, outside hot tub, and your rooms. For more photos of the houses go to santafegetaway on the web.
We are close to shopping and activities such as golf, yet we are also on five naturally landscaped acres in a peaceful setting. We especially welcome families with or without children. In the area are Indian ruins, whitewater rafting, hot springs, art galleries, the Santa Fe Opera, Flea Market, Sanctuario de Chimayo, Bandelier National Monument, Pueblos, casinos, and other activities.
The Non-Smoking house is built in charming, southwestern-style with vigas and satillo tile floors. We are a great setting for those seeking a spa-like vacation. We can provide natural meals, yoga, meditation, and massage. Nearby are several hot springs as well as our own state of the art hot tub. It also can be rented with the attached Kokopelli Suite which makes it a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with 2 tv's and an extra small kitchenette.Perfect if you want a little more distance from the kids or have grandparents along. Though you don't have to go outide to go from one to the other.
We also rent out our own larger house, Amrit Nivas, which sleeps 10+. Hope to see you soon.

The Inn (of Nectar) was immaculate, the house's beauty rivaled that of its location, and hot tubbing under the stars away from the city lights was gorgeous. The house felt like a home away from home, though it was much nicer and larger than our own home, lol. We felt very comfortable and very safe, and even our dog appreciated the accommodations and the freedom PS gave us to wander about. Needless to say, we will be recommending this spot to any friends and family headed to the Santa Fe/Taos area. Also, PS gave us some great recommendations on places to eat and see. He told us about the Santuario in Chimayo and a little restaurant near it called Leona's. That was the best New Mexican food we had all weekend! We also went to some hot springs northwest of Taos that he recommended, but we ended up going to Blackrock instead of Stagecoach. The hot springs were nice and hot, and the view of the river within the gorge was breathtaking!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This was my 2nd stay at this property and the home and grounds are a real treat! Very attractive with lots of unique art. The home is well decorated and very quiet. The 360 degree view from the top of the hill (a short walk) is breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset! There are nice easy walking trails and lots to see nearby. The owner was also very helpful and informative. A great place to relax, read and meditate! You won't be disappointed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: A cozy, restful place, after sightseeing all da,y seems to be a common thought of guests. We aim to please

We could not ask for a cooler house to stay in for our first trip to New Mexico. (We are deprived children,lo!) Bandelier was a real time traveler and us Texans got to see snow for the first time since we were small. Your house is sooo authentic and beautiful, we cannot wait to come back!! The scenery is a once and a lifetime and I just wanted to say thank you for your hospitality and kindness. We had a wonderful time exploring with many souveniers to bring home, we had a blast, thanks! Oh and Zyla(dog) was quite the hostess, her company enough made our trip complete, so cute!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful house with our famloy. It has been so peaceful, relaxing, adventurous and fun. For the first time in several months I was able to seep late. Waking up when the sun is up is extremely rare for me. This says a lot in itself. The last morning I did wake up and saw the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen. This area in New Mexico and Santa Fe was like eye candy that was rich with culture. We really enjoyed all there was to offer. Our morning walks with Zyla(dog)was fun and . We found some beautiful rocks behind your home and really loved all the hills and acres. The hot tub was so relaxing and fun for us all.A family of six has no problem enjoying the beautiful sunset, relaxing jets and all our giggles that went with the experience. We took a day trip to Santa Fe and enjoyed the culture and food. Of course the shopping was wonderful. What was really nice after a busy day in Santa Fe and a drive through the mountains to go siteseeing was coming back here where it felt so cozy and like home. We also found a rabbit that has a burrow under some rocks up the hill towards your home. Our children really loved that. Zyla(dog) was so sweet, loveable and a great host. She loved coming inside with our family and joined us on many walks I am a full-time student with 15 hours, raising a family of four and really needed to unwind. Our visit here was just what I needed. Next we will be busy skiing ,tubing and mending our sore bodies. This stay was absolutely relaxing and fulfillingDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Dear Zyla (dog) Please tell your parents how much we loved our stay in the Inn of Nectar and the Kokopelli Suite. It was so clean and comfortable and full of friendly energy. We had a great time on our walks with you and Pitty (dogs). The mornings in the gazebo and evenings in the hot tub were a treat. This is beautiful country and will be back for more hiking, shopping and canoeing. Oh yes and discovering all the fun restaurants too. We loved Chimayo, Taos, Santa Fe, Bandalier, and just wandering around. Will be back for more and Zyla, that includes lots of bellyscratchesDid you find this review helpful? We loved staying here! You guys were such a blessing to us. Your place is beautiful and all of us enjoyed the great scenery, the hills and the hot tub. I almost got a place in Santa Fe, but now I know outside of the city is where to stay. You guys are so lucky to live in a place as beautiful and full of God's glory as this.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
