Bearfish cottage is located 3 blocks from shops and restaurants in downtown Pine Mountain, Georgia and only 1/2 mile to beautiful Callaway Gardens. Bearfish is cozy and tastefully decorated, with a wildlife theme that depicts this beautiful area.
You can drive right to your back door, where motion sensor lights light your way. The back deck is great for cookouts, or relax on the front porch and listen to the birds and enjoy the beautiful foliage on the property. Sometimes deer even wander onto the yard.
You must visit Roosevelt State Park, where wildlife is abundant. Be sure and stop off at the scenic overlooks, with breathtaking views, and have your own picnic at Dowdles' Knob, where Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) had his cookouts so many years ago.
Bearfish cottage is priced more affordably than other properties in the area, because we value our guests and look forward to your repeat visits. The amount of space you are getting is incredible.

Why the Owner Chose Pine Mountain
The Pine Mountain area is so beautiful with such friendly people living there. We love the historic area where our home is located. The close proximity of Roosevelt State Park and Callaway Gardens and the quaintness of the town is very enjoyable.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Our cottage is very quiet and peaceful and only a 3 block walk to restaurants and shopping. The cottage is all on one level and you can park right at the back door. We love the porch swing where we enjoy our morning coffee. The bike rides to Roosevelt State Park and Callaway Gardens are so much fun.

I "LOVE" my vacation homes. I travel quite a bit myself and understand the needs of my guests. Meeting people from all over the world is so interesting. As you probably would guess, I love nature which is so abundant in this area. I spend much time at my beautiful beach house on the Fort Morgan peninsula in Gulf Shores Alabama which is, also, on the vacation rental program. I would love to tell you about it and all the beautiful nature that thrives there. My husband and I love riding our bikes and hiking in the Pine Mt. area. Come visit us!

Love the Bear Fish cottage for the week of Thanksgiving 2010.. Festival of Lights was amazing! Great Bar B Que place around the corner that has about 4 tables, but well worth the wait :) Everything you need is here in the cottage and very clean..
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bearfish Cottage. It is located very close to Callaway Gardens and Pine Mountain restaurants and shops. The neighborhood was quiet so it made for a nice retreat. It is an older home and shows its character. We found the bed to be overly firm. The large walk-in closet would be ideal to set up a crib or a cot for a young child. We thoroughly enjoyed the Discovery Bike Trail at Callaway and The Country Store in Callaway is a great place for breakfast. Other notable finds were ... Crickets....wonderful Cajun cuisine and terrific service Coca-Cola Science Museum in Columbus is a great day trip for young families. West Point Recreational Area (Shaefer Heard) near LaGrange is a good place to go if you enjoy hiking, fishing, etc.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.
