This early twentieth century home (and its sister home next door) has been completely rebuilt to offer comforts and amenities to help ensure a comfortable stay during your visit to Baltimore. Brazilian hardwood floors, recessed lighting, a third floor skylight, and berber carpet are among the many fine details of the home. It is just 20 minutes from BWI Airport, less than five minutes from Johns Hopkins Hospital, and is central to countless restaurants, museums, and many attractions.
The first floor offers a comfortable living room, a half bathroom, a dining room, and a kitchen with a beautiful granite countertop and stainless steel appliances. On the second floor you will find two bedrooms (one queen-size and one full-size bed) with spacious closets, a full bath with a jetted tub, and a laundry room. The third floor includes a large party room/living room, a full bathroom, and yet one more closeted bedroom (queen bed). The third floor also includes a spacious party room with cable TV and a sofabed.
For fine views of the Canton Marina, the Francis Scott Key Bridge, and the Baltimore City skyline, meander up the spiral staircase to a large rooftop deck.
Upper Fells Point and neighboring Fells Point are registered on the National Register of Historic Places. Steeped in history, Fells Point and the surrounding neighborhoods offer a great selection of restaurants, pubs, art galleries, and many other activities. Close by are such attractions as the Inner Harbor, the Hard Rock Café, ESPN zone, the National Aquarium, and famous Little Italy.

Since the end of 2006 I have made my home available to guests visiting Baltimore for a variety of reasons - sporting events, medical care at Johns Hopkins, weddings, and even the historic inauguration of President Obama ... to name a handful. Guests have complimented the home not just for its accomodations, but also for its convenience - close to good dining, site-seeing, and many amenities in the areas of Fells Point, Canton, and Upper Fells Point.
The picture I have included (of my son and myself) was taken at Washington Monument State park, where you'll find the the country's oldest monument to President George Washington.
Why the Owner Chose Baltimore
South Baltimore, the area of Baltimore City surrounding the Inner Harbor, offers residents and visitors some of the best pearls you'll find in the City of Baltimore. My home is located in Upper Fells Point, in the heart of one of the South Baltimore historic districts. Investors continue to purchase properties in Upper Fells Point and in the surrounding area, and turn houses in need of some "love" into real homes. Many of the homes, such as mine, retain their historic charm on the outside while they offer modern amenities on the inside.
