Our county now boasts 15 vineyards with noteworthy wine tasting and touring opportunities. The Leelanau Sands Casino is only 3 miles away. Sightseers will want to include the historic fishing village of Leland with its' shanty shops; The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park with endless hiking trails bordering Lake Michigan (30 miles away); and the Northport State Park complete with lighthouse.
Traverse City is only 15 miles away and hosts The Cherry Festival every July.
