Year Purchased: 2005
We are family owned small loding providers and started Mountain Bear Cabins in 2001. We have provided exceptional small lodging for our guests and enjoy every minute of it. We now live in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina and own the Dillsboro Chocolate Factory in quaint and charming Dillsboro North Carolina. We have 3 kids from teenagers to 2nd graders. We enjoy the outdoors and spending time with our family.

When you stay with us at Mountain Bear Cabins we strive to provide an excellent small lodging experience in all 5 of our homes. Sometimes things happen and go wrong on folks vacations, but we see those times as opportunities to prove ourselves to our guests and sometimes our guests ask for odd or crazy things and we strive to make those requests a reality. Serving our guests and making their time away from the hectic ups and downs of life the best it can be is what we are all about. You will find cheaper places I can assure of you of that, but it will be hard to find places at our rates which provide the level of quality and service we do. Most folks on VRBO do a good job, many do not. We see our homes not an investment to squeeze every dime out of, we see our homes as small lodging operations and treat you as our guest, not as a renter or tennant like the thousands of other vacation owners do.
