Just did a massive rate reduction on this spectacular 1 bed/1 bath condo in River Run Village at Red Hawk Lodge. This unit is conveniently located a 3 minute walk away from the River Run gondola and village. The rate is discounted further if you book 5 days within your initial inquiry, just ask me how! This affordable and comfortable first floor condo sleeps four (or 5 with use of air mattress-just ask!) Red Hawk Lodge is one of the newer complexes in River Run and is very popular for guests who want to be close to it all, yet still wish to enjoy some stress-free peace in tranquility. When you are not enjoying the great outdoors, there is a large game room in the lobby with a pool table, board games and comfortable seating in front of the large gas fireplace. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool, and 2 hot tubs that look out to the ski runs. Also, there's a workout room, steam room, and ski lockers on the first floor. This complex has heated underground parking which makes all the difference in the world during the winter months! This is an excellent place to be during the festival / mountain biking season in the summer!
River Run village is loaded with shops and restaurants - it's a village of it's own and has great nightlife, shopping and dining just steps away from the complex. It's just across the parking lot, so while you are enjoying the convenience of all the amenities within a short walking distance, you are still in a quiet part of the village. Also remember that Keystone is the only ski resort in Summit County that offers night skiing!
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Queen bed in the bedroom with a TV/DVD. Queen sofa sleeper in front of the gas fireplace in Living room. Twin Air mattress available for add'l $25 a night upon request.
FLOOR PLAN: There is a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All the pots/pans, dishes, glasses and silverware are provided. The kitchen is open to the living room. There is a round dining room table that seats four. The living room is cozy and has a TV/DVD with cable and HBO. Enjoy a movie or read a book in front of the gas fireplace. This condo has FREE high speed Internet/wifi. There is a small ground floor deck off the living room that has views of the mountains, gondola and ski runs. The bathroom (tub/shower) is just off the kitchen.
KEYSTONE ACTIVITIES: River Run Village is the center of all the activities that Keystone has to offer. There are many excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops, as well as many shopping options. In addition to night skiing, Keystone has the Adventure Park, at the top of the Gondola that offers three steep tubing hills. Located by the Mountain House at Keystone, there is the largest outdoor skating rink on a frozen pond with a beautiful Christmas tree in the center, surrounded by shops and restaurants. What could be better?

Why the Owner Chose River Run, Red Hawk Lodge
Never skiied a day in my life til the late 90's - came to Colorado from Chicago to visit a friend, and fell in love! (with the mountains, not my friend!) After a few years of frequent travels to and from the mountains, I realized how much $$ I was doling out for hotels, condos, etc. My dream was to someday own a property that I could use when I wanted to and rent to others when I wasn't there. After talking about it for several years I realized that talking doesn't make dreams come true, but DOING does... After looking at several units in Keystone, where I first learned to ski, I remember walking into this condo, turning around and realizing that I've found 'the one'.. Hey I never claimed to compete with Harlequin on writing romance novels, but that's how it really happened! 3 years going strong and I still feel the same. So, welcome to my beautiful home.. in a perfect place.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominimum
I had no idea how much I would really come to enjoy this condo. I love how convenient it is to everything, especially the gondola and the village! It really feels like home to me when I visit. What I didn't realize was how great of a place it is to be in the summer. I had no idea how much Colorado has to offer until I came out to see for myself. There is so much MORE to do in the summer months, e.g., hiking, white water rafting, taking a ride on the gondola, mountain biking (my new summer passion), boating, fishing, swimming (love that pool!) and so much more. The summer festivals are so enjoyable - great for families and friends, or just for yourself to get away and relax..

Chicago based, born and raised. Work in the financial industry - you know, work hard, play hard! Cubs fan, marathon runner, very family oriented. I love to travel and most importantly enjoy the beautiful outdoors. People often ask me why dont I just give in and move to Colorado. Aside from being close to my family, I have come to realize that I love the balance of the city life (and I live 2 blocks from Wrigley Field, bonus!) and I simply adore the mountains.
