This is a wonderfully furnished 2 bedroom condominium. It has an extremely large balcony that acted, most of the time, as our main seating area. The condo is located in the huge ocean front resort of “Vida Del Mar”. This condo itself is actually not an oceanfront unit as there is another building directly in front of you, however, your view of the stunning sunsets is not impeded in anyway. The resort is located in a rural area about 8 km off the main highway. A 15-20 minute car ride will take to the nearest commercial center. There is also a local bus that now stops at the resort, I think, once a day. There are two swimming pools located on the resort and are both only about a 7-8 minute walk away. If you wish, you can also swim in the ocean here at Playa L’Recif, however a word of caution, at this site the ocean conditions can change rather quickly, so if you plan to be in the water, be aware at all times, as the undertows in this bay can be quite severe. There is, however, a beautiful beach at Playa La Boquita, on the other side of this peninsula. It is only about a 35 minute walk away. This is where all the Mexicans bring their families to swim. There is a fantastic restaurant on the grounds called L’Recif. The menu is quite pricey but it is well worth the expense and wow what a view. They also hold church service there on Sundays at 10:00am The owners of this condo are absolutely wonderful people. They were always very concerned about our stay and wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. As an example, we had a problem with an infestation of ants in the kitchen, well I don’t know what they said to the maintenance staff, but the problem was fixed the very next day.We had a wonderful stay at this condominium and do not have a problem recommending it to anyone.Did you find this review helpful? I loved loved this wonderful condo with its incrediable views and sunsets. I loved the relaxed tropical setting. I enjoyed the wonderful restaurant on site and the other hidden gems that the owners told us about. I talked at lenght with the owners who told us all about the area and the sights not to be missed. To be honest we were so comfortable and relaxed at the condo we spent most of her time sitting talking and enjoying the sunsets and views. We are going back as soon as our schedule allows.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed here with friends in Feb of 2013. The condo is very dated the furniture and beds are worn out, the kitchen is definitely not gourmet. I had to repair the toilet in the spare bedroom. The bedspread and sheets on our beds in the spare bedroom were literally falling apart. The kitchen sink leaked. It had not had a thorough cleaning in a long time. The new looking furniture in the living room was as hard to sit on as a brick. Our hosts had many more problems and on top of it the owners were rude to them. RENTER BEWARE!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hola Brenda & Hector: Just a brief testimonial about our stay from Feb./07 to early March/07. First off, the views are amazing - especially the whales activity with the naked eye. The unit you provided met our needs perfectly. We are in our early fifties and had no problems with your unit on the top floor (3rd). The outside / lanai BBQ was our main appliance for cooking most nights. Very comfortable King in the master bedroom.Entertainment utilities worked fine, however, I did have to borrow a micro system from Jorge. I would have no hesitation recommending your unit to other potential renters provided they are not physically challenged. All in all a great month. We enjoyed immensely. Perhaps we may return for 2008 if you still have vacancy. Warm regards, Craig & Laura Millar.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
