  Had a girls reunion trip in February 2012 at this house. Everything about it was great. We had 8 people and plenty of space. Had a little trouble figuring out the front door. The bathroom downstairs toilet needed cleaning.... but property management responded right away and took care of the bathroom. Table on the back patio collapsed on my foot- not fun. Looked like they had not bolted the legs into the top. Property manager responded right away and had table repaired. House is awesome, widow's peak view was wonderful! We happened to pick the coldest wettest weekend to go but having such a nice house to hang out in made everything ok. Would definitely suggest this house to friends.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway.

  The house, itself, was lovely and every amenity was provided. However, I was very disappointed with the outdoor living space. I expected to be able to see the beach while having a morning coffee or enjoying dinner on the deck. The angled 2nd floor deck did not allow for this and the table only fits on the section of the deck overlooks neighboring homes :( The view from the widow's walk is fantastic, however it only provides seating for two and transporting your meal (for two, only) to it would be a challenge.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Plantation House. The house was beautiful, clean, and new. The decor was so nice compared to other beach houses we've stayed in. We also liked the proximity to the beach. There is no doubt we would stay here again.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  We stayed at the Plantation House during Sandfest and it was everything the description said and more. The house is well laid out, VERY clean and beautifully decorated. We were impressed that various forms of soap and cleansers were available because many homes you rent don't provide this. The location is awesome....you can walk easily to the Beach Joint and enjoy breakfast, lunch, drinks and/or dinner. We even got a to go order one night! The pool right next door to the house and it's really good size, especially compared to lots of other neighborhood pools, which can be tiny. The hot tub, deck and chairs were all very nice as well. There is plenty of parking right in front of the house, on two long driveways and a very handy hose to wash things off. One draw back is not being able to use the garage, which would be nice when it's super hot in the summer. We had a small issue with the oven and it was taken care of quickly. The service that One of A Kind Beach Houses provides is OUTSTANDING. They went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We had two families stay here and the house worked great for us. Such a bonus to have two master bedrooms! We loved this house and will definitely be back.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Sure most places have a coffee maker, and maybe a toaster but do they also have a blender, can opener and shrimp deveiner? And are they fully stocked with complete cookware, dinnerware, glassware and silverware along with complete bedding linens and towels for the number of guests the home accommodates, as well as brand name dish soap, Tide laundry detergent, body wash, Cascade dishwashing detergent, coffee filters, trashbags, paper towels and high quality toilet paper? Plantation House has all this and more without a cleaning fee, booking fee or any other kind of fee fee! Give Plantation House a try and see how it works perfectly for your family too.
