Don't be alarmed if you feel dizzy or are spinning... you have just entered My Sedona Vortex in the Red Rocks of the Church of the Holy Cross butte, a true vortex. Walk into another world, hot tub under the stars, Red rock viewing decks, multi-dimensional space. Approaching the front door you will have a smile on your face as you are greeted by the Zen Master statue.

Opening the front door My Sedona Vortex welcomes you into the living room/dining room area featuring a beautiful large rock covered wood burning fireplace, perfect for those chilly Fall/Winter/Spring nights at 4500', topped by a 42" Plasma HDTV. You don't know which way to turn, so you just keep walking through the living room into the Buddha Solarium for your first up-close greeting of the wonderful Red Rock butte of the Holy Cross Church. The trees and birds are at eye-level all around you and you literally feel the tension draining from your body. You take a deep breath and release it slowly through that permanent smile on your face.

Then you turn slowly to look back into the living room walking past the rock fireplace you turn into what appears to be a small interesting space and you find an area, another Solarium, expansive with mirrors and rock, reaching out into the woods around you. This area is set up with a work station for your laptop, high-speed DSL, printer/scanner/fax for when you just have to check your email ;)) or cannot completely cut away from the office (cell phones work perfectly in this area).

Now you take a quick stroll thru the light, bright, happy fully-equipped kitchen making your way down the hall past the second bedroom, into the Master bedroom, noticing the huge walk-thru closet off to the left and the light, bright Master bath, but none of that matters...it is the deck that beckons you. You are no longer in control, you are following, floating as your feet lead you out onto the huge wrap-around deck. You take notice of the wonderful 6-8 persona sunken spa, but then you see it...the spiral staircase that leads you, draws you up, up to another world.

As you slowly, step-by-step, move up the spiral staircase, you take in the trees, reach out and touch the tree tops, the greenery, the birds, the Red Rocks. There is no preparing you for the first time that you emerge onto the upper deck. Spinning, swirling around you don't know which direction to focus on first. Luckily the chairs rock and swivel, so you can settle in and just take your time swivelling this way and that, in every direction watching the Red Rocks change color with the Sunrise and Sunsets.

After a while you decide to finish your initial tour. You go back down to the main level, walk back through the house and spy the spiral staircase in the corner of the living room going down. The lower level is a full living area with it's own full bath, queen bed, queen sofa bed and slider that lets you walk out into the amazing backyard complete with active wash and a family of deer that comes by at Sunset. Did I mention Quail, Bluejays, Cardinals, squirrels?

The upper deck is perfect for UFO, Orb and Light-ship viewing. Sedona is the place for awesome Earthly and Non-Earthy filming.
