Outstanding - I want to go back!!!!

This is the most outstanding condo that I have ever rented. The view was beyond belief. I watched whales every morning while I drank coffee from the deck. The kitchen was a dream kitchen. I cooked outstanding meals everyday with fresh fish, fruits and veggs from the various local vendors. We played in the pool and water slides each morning and went to the hot tub each night. The unit is equipped with snokeling gear, boogy boards, beach towles, coolers, etc. Everything you need to go and play at the beach all day. Including an outstanding washer and dryer to help you clean up after the beach. This unit is costly, but it was worth it! I think this was the best vacation my husband and I have ever taken and one of the main reasons was this outstanding unit.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Best Place to Stay

2 of us have been to Kauai 3 times, and the other was their 1st time. It was the best place and location to stay. We enjoyed the sunrises and the morning walks on the beach. It was great that the stores were across the street from the condo. The supplie in the closet or guest to use was great. The cooler, boogy boards camein handy. We have rented from VRBO 6 diff times and this was the best one, it looks just like the pictures and We will deffinatly be back to stay in this same condo. Thank you Jeannette for sharing your condo. It was an awesome time. The condo is very clean and well maintained and comfortable. We will deffinetly reccomend to others. Mahalo.

Owner response:From the Owner: We take a lot of pride in our condo and we want things to be perfect for our guests. In the recent comments, it was suggested that we made some upgrades and address some maintenance issues. Since our unit is direct beachfront property and the closest unit to the beach, we are prone to excessive corrosion from the salt air and require more maintenance then your typical unit. We have replaced the shower heads, fixed the slider doors, added some additional lighting and we think the condo is in great shape. We welcome any constructive comments that can help make our condo even better ! Mahalo

10 days in Kauai

My parents and husband stayed here for 10 days in May. I read all the reviews I could for this unit here and on Trip Advisor and unfortunately, I have to say the most recent ones were correct. While the unit has top of the line finishes and appliances, the maintenance and upkeep appears to be somewhat lacking. The weather was NOT good (3 flash flood warnings), however you can't control that, but it did force us to stay indoors a lot, and we found there was no lighting at the dining table, so we had to buy a light at Walmart just to be able to eat and play cards, etc... and realized then just how small the "living room" is, but typically the weather is nicer so you'd be outdoors more and not subject to being indoors all the time. The screen doors need to be replaced, (The wind kept blowing them apart because the latch is corroded) dresser and night stand in guest room need replacing (drawers fall out) and need different shower heads, both of them are useless. That being said, both of the bathrooms are HUGE, way more space than I have in my own home, especially the Master Bath, you can tell the units were planned with luxury in mind for both of them. I also want to mention this unit had the BEST Washer & Dryer we have ever used in a rental! The view was very nice, but be prepared for very little lanai space. The A/C worked great, and when the main sliders get closed be sure that you pull hard to the right to seat them properly or the A/C will not come on. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the pool is amazing. If you crave peace from the children, we found the the back side of the pool to be usually a bit quieter. There are three hot tubs, and one is adult only, which was nice. Overall the unit is very nice with a great view, but it would be FANTASTIC if a little more effort was put into maintenance and replacement of necessary items that have been mentioned several times on the two major customer review sites.

Owner response:REMAX RESPONSE We have a Guest Feedback letter in every unit that encourages guests to notify us if there are any issues during their stay. We at RE/MAX Kaua`i was not apprised of any of the complaints and we are so sorry to hear of these inconveniences. It would have been our pleasure to loan our guests an extra lamp. Owners have been apprised and they have immediately ordered a floor lamp for more illumination. Screen doors: Our housekeeper and RE/MAX Kaua`i have both previously reported the screen doors to Waipouli's AOAO's maintenance dept. which is on site. Unfortunately, we were on a waiting list. Sliding screen doors have been repaired and/or replaced since. The fancy "Rain Forest" shower heads will also be replaced with the preferred massage shower heads models. Regarding the drawers of the dresser and night stand in guest room, we will look into it and try to remedy the problem. Unfortunately, the company that makes these furniture built it that way. We hope that our guests overall enjoyed their vacation on Kaua'i despite the inconveniences encountered. Mahalo nui loa for your constructive criticisms. The owners and our property management staff will endeavor to continually improve our hospitality services.

Gorgeous Family Friendly condo

We couldn't have asked for a better view! Loved the sound of the ocean from all 3 balconies!! Kids loved the snake pool, water slides, Koi fish feeding. We all enjoyed the onsite restaurant/bar and even the spa. Fully equipped condo and a wonderful relaxing vacation spot. Love that Safeway, Longs, etc. are all conveniently located across the street. To make this condo even better, please upgrade the shower heads and please eliminate the need for guests to do any laundry upon checkout. We fully hope to return!!

Owner response:There was apparently some misunderstanding. We have never required any of our guest to do any laundry upon check out. We have had an incident where the guest used an unreasonable amount. In that case, we would have to charge an extra clean fee depending on how much extra time. In order to avoid that fee, the guest would have needed to try to keep down the use or do some washing.

Beautiful Property

The condo was exactly as pictured, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The pool and grounds were clean. My son loved the pool, with the slides and waterfall caves. The only bad thing(if you could call it that) is the beach is not a swimming beach, very rocky. There are great beaches only a short drive away. Our favorite was the beach right behind Dukes (Kalapacki?? beach), nice and sandy bottom with board rentals on the beach, great for everyone!! Favorite breakfast spot was Ono family restaurant in Kapaa!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!

Best Vacation I have ever had. We stayed for 10 days last May. I Drool ever time I think about going back. The Condo had the best view and everything in it I would need. I will be back and stay in this condo.

Absolutely beautiful condo with amazing views out every window. The layout is great for families with children or couples sharing the space. Top of the line facilities and appointments. We had dinner on the lanai every night and fell asleep listening to the waves in the distance. This is the best condo on the property, no doubt.
