The condo complex is 1.1 miles from the ski area and so convenient to drive to and from in the morning and after skiing. This was our first time to Taos and the mountain was great too. Plenty big and not crowded at the most crowded time of year (just after Christmas). We were impressed with the newness and niceness of the condo...perfect for 4 people (2 adults with 2 adult kids). The half bathrooms that share a third room with a shower was perfect for everyone getting ready in the morning for skiing. There are plenty of common meeting areas and game rooms in the general condo area which I'm sure would be great for business functions as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone else and we will come again.

We rented this condo for a partnership / business retreat a short while ago - and what a wonderful place! The condo was cozy, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed in a beautiful setting. Tucked in the trees, you'll feel like you're away from it all - yet you're not far from town and close to the ski area with great restaurants, galleries and shopping. The owners were easy to work with and Henry was quite helpful - especially when we needed a meeting space both inside and outside. It was important to us to have a meeting room that wouldn't feel crowded - even with our stuff all over the place! Of course at the end of the day - the hot tub was ideal for star-gazing and relaxing. We highly recommend a stay here and are looking forward to planning our next visit.

My partners and I met for a business retreat at the Inn at Taos Valley and we found it to be the perfect setting. The room was comfortable and well equipped, nicely decorated, and the meeting room and outside spaces worked well. The Inn is located in a beautiful setting of tall pines and is minutes away from a pub and other amenities at the base of the Ski area. We found the owners to be very responsive and helpful with our booking and the manager was available for whatever we needed. I'd love to return!

We have stayed at the Inn at Taos Valley twice now and have had excellent experiences both times. The location can't be beat as it is 1 mile from the ski area. The condos are furnished in appropriate southwest motif and very clean. Both times we stayed it was very quiet and peaceful, nice contrast from the hussle and bussle of everyday life. The hot tub is a great refuge after a day of skiing. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway vacation!!!

We have stayed in Taos Ski Valley on many occations and this was by far the nicest of all. The accomodations were very comfortable and clean and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. The location to the ski valley, hiking trails and Taos is ideal. We will definately book here again the next time we plan a trip to the ski valley and will be recommending it to our friends.

Great Location, Poor Management

Taos Ski Valley is wonderful and the Inn at Taos Valley is nice. However, I would recommend travelers seek other management options as with this rental you will find yourself on your own, without any kind of assistance if something goes wrong. The owner lives remotely (which is fine) but there are NO local contacts to assist if there is a lost key, etc. Again, the area is nice, the property is accurately reflective, but given the number of options available, I would select a more reponsible, accessible management structure. The Bavarian is awesome, snoeshowing was fun, Gear Up Bike Shop in Taos was great. The hands-off approach of this owner was just, well a little to hands off for this renters liking.
