Just wanted to let you know that our family had the best time in your unit.It was PERFECT. The pool was the best as it made it virtually stress free for both parents and grandparents. My daughter-in-law said it was like her dream come true pool. The grandkids loved to feed the koi every morning. We got some good tips from the little log book and our grown kids loved jumping off KIPU FALLS and the crazy waves of the North Shore. We loved the Bull Shed and Bubba’s and of course we took all your advice about using Costco and getting the Sashimi platters. We had pineapple and found coconuts nearby (dont tell) and had pina coladas everyday. Now, we are all on diets !!! Walks along the beach gave us some bonding time with our grandkids. Your recommendations were great. We will definitely recommend your place to any of our friends. You were so easy to work with and made it a very smooth vacation for us. You are the best. Now Kauai has become our family favorite island. I should have listened to you and booked Kauai for 2 weeks instead of 1. We will definitely keep this wonderful place in mind for the future !!! Next time we hope they have a gift shop, restaurant and spa open. Mahalo and we'll be back someday for sure!!!
Owner response:Aloha Kirkbride family. I am so glad to hear that you had a wonderful time and that you loved the unit and its location. I have forwarded your recommendations for a gift shop and more to the decision makers. The restaurant bar is now open as is the snack shack. The new spa is called Spa by the Sea. We look forward to having you back at our resort. Much Aloha, Isabelle

5 of my family stayed here over the New year (one child) and we had a wonderful stay. The condo and resort are so nice that we had a difficult time leaving. This resort, and particularly this unit with its oceanfront view, are the place to stay in Kapa'a. Perhaps I am too picky, but the extra $$ to stay oceanfront rather than a unit that looks over the pool or the small garden surrounding the giant parking lot is well worth it. The pool was amazing, beautifully landscaped, plenty of room even at its busiest time. I enjoyed the lack of clorine smell and effect (it's a saline pool). My son loved the waterslides and we all enjoyed the hot tubs (two of the three are for adults only). The other families there were extremely nice and my son played with other children easily. The staff are incredibly nice. We all enjoyed feeding the koi in the beautiful pond every day at 9am. The beach was terrific for children-- my 8 year old swam around near the shore (it is not a swimming beach for adults, too rocky a few feet from shore) and he loved the tidal pools at the south end of the beach, where we discovered sea cucumbers, sea urchins, tropical fish, and other wonders. The views from the lanai and every room are wonderful, and the condo is very relaxing. The beds and linens are super comfortable and so is the furniture. We ate out on the lanai every night. Everything works extremely well, the appliances are dreamy. A couple of small negative things to note that are not a big deal, but might be important to some people. One is that the hot water is somewhat limited, if more than one person takes a shower in a row, the second will be a cold shower. There is not enough hot water to fill up the giant tub in the guest bath. But this is Hawaii, and some cool water is not necessarily unpleasant. The second is that the internet service, while free, is inconsistent at best inside and around the unit. You can always take a short walk up to the lobby where the signal is strong and fast. The third is that there is not a large amount of storage and the unit is cozy rather than incredibly spacious, so don't bring a lot of stuff with you. Again, I want to emphasize that despite its minor flaws, this is a fabulous condo and an amazing resort. We had an amazing week here, and when one minor thing went wrong, it was immediately attended to, despite that it was a new year's holiday weekend.

My Family and I LOVED the unit! There was 6 of us that stayed here and the unit was spacious, well apointed, comfortable and perfectly located on the island! The best part about this condo is the pool! You can spend hours there. If you kids it is even better. The complex was not crowded and there was always plenty of chairs to lay on or put your stuff. The complex is located directly across from a strip mall with a Safeway, Starbucks, ABC Store, CVS Pharmacy, McDonalds, Cold Stone and Pizza Hut... What more could you need to take care of your family's needs? Isabelle is a fantastic and attentive manager. There were a couple VERY minor issues when we got there and once brought to Isabelle's attention, they were handled immediately. We will be back to stay at this unit (hopefully) next year! HIGHLY RATED!!!

We could not have choosen a better place for our family trip. The resort was beautiful the staff were friendly and the unit we rented thru vrbo was perfect. This unit is ground level which was very nice for active kids who were in and out all the time, while my wife and I found the lanai a great place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and a bagel in the morning. The owner of this unit was very professional and responsive to all of our questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort and this particular unit to everyone considering a visit to the beautiful island of Kauai.

We had a WONDERFUL time! My parents loved your condo. I didn't think I was going to be able to get them to leave! And our kids thought the pool was the best thing in the world. Your condo is beautiful. I knew it was going to be fabulous, but it was even greater than I expected. It is in a perfect location within the resort, only steps from the ocean and the pool. It was also wonderful to be able to walk just a short distance to the small and quaint shopping center across the street. We also appreciated your suggestions on places to see and visited as many as we could fit in during our short stay. The staff at the resort were great. Each person was very friendly and helpful. We've already started talking about starting a savings fund for a second visit! Thank you so much! We truly enjoyed renting your unit. It helped make our family vacation one that we will never forget and we will talk about it for years to come! We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai! Sincerely, Christina

Isabelle - What a wonderful time we had in your beautiful place in Kauai. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy your home and the wonderful amenities offered. We enjoyed very much cooking and eating in every night fresh mahi mahi, ahi tuna, poke, shrimp ceviche, etc... along with fresh mango, guava, starfruit, passionfruit, etc... (we followed the farmers market around the island almost every day.) Our kids really enjoyed coming back to the pool in the late afternoon and early evening while my wife and I cooked dinner and relaxed with a glass of wine. We typically followed dinner with playing a family game of cards "phase 10" and collapsed in your wonderfully comfortable beds (even my 9 year old son exclaimed to me how comfortable your beds are.) No television or electronics of any kind were ever turned on. We explored five different beaches and snorkeled on four -- Ke'e, Poipu, Salt Ponds, and Lydgate spending the last two days boogie boarding at Kalapaki beach. The whole vacation was full of highlights, including kayaking Hanalei bay and snorkeling, and especially hiking Waimea Canyon (swimming in the waterfall pond) and hiking NaPali Coast (exploring the beach and caves.) We agreed that the coconut shrimp in Waimea was some of the "best in the world" (it probably helped that we just finished a four hour hike and we were eating lunch at 2pm.) Thanks again for one our most memorable vacations ever, we truly enjoyed every moment and created memories that we will cherish for a lifetime, Bob

We had the pleasure of spending 2 weeks in H-103 and it was truly wonderful. The unit is pristine, private, and steps away from a beautiful beach where we spent much of our time reading & relaxing. The unit was always comfortable, clean, and the ceiling fans & air conditioning worked perfectly! We have been to Kauai 3 times & love Kapaa's location. It is easy to travel anywhere on the island on a whim from there & Waipouli Beach Resort is the newest & most beautiful resort in the area. We will definitely return to H-103 on our next trip to Hawaii.

WOW, what a fantastic place. I would compare this to staying in a 5 star hotel. The unit is beautifully decorated & has great appliances. It is in the perfect location of the complex. You are only steps from the beach where there is great snorkeling & swimming. Close enough to the pool, but not close enough to hear the noise. Also convenient to the parking lot. Conveniently located for shopping & restaurants. The entire complex is beautiful & we would definitely recommend it to our friends. We hope to go back.

Just returned 4 days ago from staying at Waipouli Beach Resort H103 for 5 nights. There were a total of 8 people staying in this condo. Six 22 year old girls on their senior spring break and two old farts picking up the bill! Beautifully appointed condo. EXTREMELY convenient to everything---the girls would walk across the street every morning to Starbucks for breakfast and walk to a different restaurant each evening for dinner. The Conceirge in the lobby was the very accommadating when booking excursions and the "Pool Boy" was cute. The resort isn't 100% completed yet, but it didn't put a damper on the stay---the pool bar is opened for business. I would reccommend this resort to families w/little ones because they will LOVE the pool and Mom will love the convenience of the resort's location to shopping--across the street, down the street, next door. It's for this reason I wouldn't suggest it for those vacationers who desire a "honeymoon" kind of experience. I know Kauai, go up to the Princeville or the Hyatt in Poipu. But for everyone else, this lovely condo will suit you just fine. Mahalo, Lisa

After spending countless hours researching properties (both online and with travel agents) in Kauai, the Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa exceeded our expectations! The location is perfect...a quick 10-minute drive from the airport and conveniently located between the South Shore (water excursions and beautiful sunsets) and the North Shore (horseback riding, ziplining and surfing). Once inside the property...H103 is the ideal location! It is comfortable (spacious with updated furniture), peaceful (the four sliding doors open to a quite garden) and the walkway leads from the family room to the ocean! Over the past couple of months, we have found Isabelle (property owner) a true delight to work with! Aloha!!!

H103 exceeded our expectation! We woke up early each morning to watch the sunrise, great views of the ocean from all windows and lanais. The location is perfect: ON THE BEACH, close to great restaraunts, shopping and ideal for day trips around the island. The only problem is that the unit and the grounds are so perfect you will be tempted not to leave the property.
