150 metres from the beach, between San Benedetto del Tronto and Civitanova Marche, our agritourism Mare in Campagna is situated in the deep green hills of the Marches, surrounded by our own wheat and barley fields, olive groves and orchards. You will also find a small barnyard farm. The beach in front of the house is open, wide, quiet and accessible on foot.

Our agritourism maintains the tradition of agricultural self-sustaining livelihood that is largely abandoned nationwide, but that still continues to characterise our region, the Marches.

The Marches is a region of central Italy that is unknown to many tourists. Our traditions and culture are still active and alive: if you come to our region you’ll find pleasant and variegated landscapes, historic and artistic towns and villages, wholesome food, served in generous portions, and excellent wines at a reasonable price.

On the site of the old hayloft now stands our Agriturismo restaurant. Here, at last, our products can be transformed into meals for our guests. Indeed, at the base of all our dishes you’ll find vegetables from our vegetable garden, eggs from the chicken house, fresh fish from the Adriatic Sea, meat from free-range animals bred by ourselves or by trusted farmers. Above all – the indisputable principle of our cuisine – our own extra-virgin olive oil, pressed from olives cultivated without chemical treatment. The recipes we offer our guests are rooted in the local wine and gastronomic traditions, using time honoured methods of preparation characterized by commitment and care. Among these are the “vingisgrassi” (lasagne ragout), “maccheroncini di Campofilone” (egg pasta), the reputed “olive ascolane” (meat-stuffed olives) and many other specialities typical of our farmhouse cuisine, always prepared with regard to nature and with a light touch, and seasoned with a pinch of imagination.
