  We stayed for 10 days this past May and had wonderful accommodations in this condo. The ground floor lanai is fantastic as it allows you to exit to the beach, the pool, the sunbathing are right through the sliding doors and not have to mess with elevators. The views were absolutely awesome. The condo is wonderfully appointed with very a tasteful decor and all the amenitis you could possibly need. There were also all the little things that add up to a great stay such as nice beach chairs, dimmer switches on all lighting, and (this was important for us) dryer vent that actually vents to the outside and not in the room. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, double shower, very comfortable master bed, excellent WIFI and the list goes on. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Thanks John and Cathy!

  We absolutely loved our stay here. Coming home to the beautiful ocean waves was the highlight of every day, and we found ourselves eating in as much as we could in order to savor the ambience. The location is superb, owners wonderfully helpful, and the decor and amenities very refined. I would confidently recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing place to call home while on vacation.

  My wife and I stayed in the condo for one week. The condo is very nice and being on the ground floor was great. We enjoyed eating on the lanai, easy beach access and great sunsets. I'd highly recommend for someone looking to stay in the Kaanapali area.

  Our trip to Maui was "the trip of a lifetime"! We're still talking about our Sept stay in this condo which has "location, location, location". It is right on the beach and you wake up every morning to the ocean views from bedroom and living room, The lanai next outside was nice for reading and relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning or enjoying the views to the adjacent islands. The have a sound system so we listened to local Hawaiian music all day long. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed. We used the snorkling gear, saving renting money. We bought our groceries after arrving and had breakfast at the condo and had lunch and dinner at all the nice restaurants on Maui; overall, the food was better than in San Diego. The condo is located steps from the parking lot and the gate opens to a long walkway which has beach views and other eateries. The condo owners handled our reservation very professionaly and we had our booking in 24 hours! I strongly recommend their services and would go back in a minute. PS, there is assistance in building for booking tours and recommendations for places to see and where to eat. The shopping center across the street a supermarket and restaurants. (Take the car, too far if carrying groceries)

  This was a fantastic place to stay! John and Cathy were so easy to deal with. The condo was beautiful and well taken care of. The grounds were manicured to perfection and the resort area was relaxing and quiet. We loved being able to step out the slider and be right on ground level where we could take advantage of the beach, lawn or pool. In addition to the lovely condo and view, we were able to utilize the walking path which was easily accessible from the unit. We would definitely stay again.

  My wife and I (along with our infant son) stayed here for a week and were blown away by the location. Kaanapali beach is about 50 feet from the lanai door and we loved falling asleep every night to the sounds of waves crashing just outside our window. The ground floor level was perfect for us with our son, as we could easily pop in and out while sitting on the beach or grass just outside, watching the whales. The condo itself was great; newly remodeled per the description and easily large enough for our family. We had an amazing week and can't wait to go back!

  Thank you John & Kathy for allowing us the privilege of renting your condo. We love the Mahana and its location. We especially loved your condo and the wonderful upgrades, cleanliness, supplies, etc. The view was amazing. We also want to thank you for the ease it was in reserving your unit and the efficiency in which you informed us of all the necessary information we needed to fully benefit our experience using your condo. It is our hope that we will again be able to rent from you next year - we will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Thank you again for everything. Our trip was wonderful!

  Walked in after a long flight from Colorado with an infant and new it was worth it as soon as we opened the door! You could throw a rock and hit the ocean water from this beautifully renovated condo! Floor to ceiling windows overlook the ocean. You can sleep in bed at night while feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the sound of the waves only a few yards away. This location cannot be beat! Our favorite morning activity was sipping coffee on the covered lani (patio) while watching the whales breach right infront of the condo. The grocery and liqour store is right across the street and many nights we stayed in and cooked in the fabulous kitchen and used one of the many gourmet grills in the common pool/ grill area. The washer and dryer is an added bonus! A year prior we stayed in a condo on the 8th floor of the same complex but John and Cathy's first floor condo is hands down our favorite! Not having to haul groceries and strollers on the elevator and the ability to walk out the door and be right on the beach is a no brainier! We were able to put the baby down for a nap and be only feet away and enjoy some beach time! John and Cathy truly made this a wonderful renting experience and we can't wait to come back for our next vacation! Thank you!

  My wife and I stayed at this prop 10618, and it was absolutely wonderful. The inside and outside of the condo were 100% as described and everything was very very nice. John and Cathy provided prompt responses, gave good advice on what to do and where. Everything was just great. We hope to repeat some day....next time we are in Maui....

  1BR suite (king bed with pull out sofa in main room) walkout on main level. The property was as advertised and went beyond our expectations. The owners were great to deal with. The condo was clean, quiet and extremely well outfitted, the bed was very comfortable, and the view was spectacular. We were there the last 10 days of March and we saw whales every day. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the smoothie bar, and took advantage of the concierge services to book a whale watching tour at a discounted rate. We found the building to be very clean and well looked after. At the time of booking I was concerned about being on the main level, but we found it to be very quiet, safe and private. You can't see in the windows during the day and the owners have installed two sets of blinds for extra privacy - ones that you can see the view through as well as blackout blinds. We loved being able to walk right out the back door onto the lawn just a few steps from the beach. There is a lawn in front of the unit with lounge chairs that are common to the unit, and a hedge that provides privacy yet still allows views of the ocean. Lovely! This unit has been recently renovated and is in good shape. Don't bring a hairdryer or anything you think you might need for the kitchen. If you do need anything there is a grocery store nearby. The unit also had snorkelling gear and binoculars, reading material and many other things left behind by previous guests. Pack light! The beach is sufficient for sunbathing and you can go for a dip in the water, but the coral reef is right there, it's immediately quite deep and the undertow is strong. I do not recommend this beach for kids, however if you do walk a short ways south along the beach, it does improve. Still there are no lifeguards. If travelling with kids, I would recommend staying near a beach with a lifeguard perhaps near South Kihei or Wailea. This condo is a beautiful, peaceful spot for couples wanting some R&R. Definitely do drive north to the blowhole and the Olivine pools to see this beautiful country, but definitely DON'T drive beyond this point unless you enjoy having the life scared out of you! Check out Sansei in Kapalua - great food - discounts available if you arrive and order early. Do book a whale tour if only to get out on the water. Travel before April to guarantee whale sightings.
