We had an excellent time in Maui and wish we were still there! Much of our satisfaction was due to the great condo we stayed in. It was basically ON the beach, which was perfect! It was so close to everything we wanted to do; including, Ka'anapali Beach, Whalers Village, Lahaina, Kapalua and The Ritz, and much more. The kitchen and bathroom in the condo were so nice and completely updated, and I honestly used the washer and dryer each day of our trip. It was nice to not have to pack dirty clothes when we left. We went at the beginning of whale season and were so lucky to see whales every day from the condo and the beach! I can't say enough good things about our trip. We will deftinitely stay at the same condo next time we are able to travel to Maui. Mahalo!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed here last May and just realized I never sent a review of this amazing place. I guess it is because I did not want to leave! It was really really nice. I loved the view. Morning coffee and a glass of wine at sunset on the porch was incredible. The gas grills up front were great too. You can snorkel right "out the back door". The extras, such as the cooler and boogie board, were much appreciated too. I cannot say enough about the amazing place. Thanks for letting us stay and I hope to be able to come back one day.

We were actually planning a stay at The Whaler and had condos rented for our big family vacation but to our disappointment The Whaler was going to undergo some big renovations and we needed to relocate our vacation. Back to the drawing board and I found properties at the Mahana. You know the expression "things happen for a reason" well I am so happy we stayed at the Mahana and especially happy to have found your condo. My parents stayed in your condo and from the moment we walked through the door we were amazed. My parents loved their stay and we enjoyed your beautiful patio and the kiddies loved playing on the grass outside your place. All of the amenities make your place a 5 star plus home. The location is perfect and you can't get any closer to the ocean without being in the water!! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us and I hope one day our travels will take us back to Maui and would love to stay in your place..that is is my parents aren't with us because they would definitely want to stay there again! Thank you for thinking of everything to make their stay so memorable!!

John & Cathy, Sarah and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Mahana 116 in Maui! It was the perfect place to stay for our honeymoon. The interior was beautiful and being right on Kaanapali beach was incredible. The sand, views, and snorkeling were perfect, all within a few steps of the condo. We were able to eat breakfast on the patio, pack our lunches, and eat dinner out. We enjoyed hearing the sounds of the waves at night. Thanks for providing such a pleasant place to stay.

We had such a wonderful time, though much too short. Your condo was perfect in every way. Waking up to not only the sound of the ocean, but the sight of it, too, every morning was something I'd like to do for the rest of m life! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and hope to return to Maui and stay there again soon.

When we finally got into the condo ( our door code didn't work ) we were so happy. The place is amazing. It's true---there is everything you could possibally need there. The decor is beautiful, and the view can't be beat. We loved it there, and will stay again.-----If everything had gone as planned and there had been no problems I would have given the rating 5 stars.-------------------

I knew from the pictures that this place would be breath taking but seeing it in person was beyond anything I had imagined! The view can not be beat and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of foot traffic on the lower level which was great because we never felt like the view was never interrupted. We spent many hours out on the lanai whale watching (which we saw one everyday, although it was more their splash than them), watching the sunsets and just enjoying the sea breeze. This was my mother-in-laws first vacation and she was blown away! Your place certainly put the "cherry-on-top" of our vacation! We look forward to renting with you again!

This is one of those places where you are anticipating how great it is going to be ... and it is far better. The ocndo and its surroundings are perfect. The bar is set so high, I don't think we will be able to stay anyplace else. Darcie and Craig

Your Mahana place is so wonderful that we have no choice but to use a cliché to describe it. Gratifyingly tasteful and extremely well appointed would be the most accurate description. The decor and amenities show a high level of attention to detail and a concern for the comfort and convenience of your guests. The housekeeper certainly does an excellent job because it was spotless when we arrived.The unit feels like there are no other units around it. It is a space all to itself. Anyway, I should clarify that this e-mail has been written with nothing stronger than Pellegrino and lime passing our lips today so we are certainly sincere in what we are saying.

John and Cathy: We just got back from another wonderful vacation in Maui. Your unit as per our previous stay, was ideal. We stayed for another two nights in an 11th floor unit that was elaborately appointed, but nothing, can come near the comfort and ease of enjoyment your first floor unit offers. Hello John and Cathy,We just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time our family had in Maui at your beautiful condo. We miss it already. We can’t say enough about how quiet and what a perfect location your unit was at the Mahana. The amenities and extras that were in your condo made life so easy and convenient for us. We enjoyed listening to the ocean waves while eating on the Lanai, and to be able to walk right outside to the water was just incredible. Although we did and saw a lot during our vacation, in addition to squeezing in some relaxation time, one week is definitely not enough time to enjoy everything Maui has to offer. We look forward to our return already. :-) Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

just wanted to write to say thanks for the use of the condo. Everything worked out great! We had a great honeymoon -- the beach was quiet, we could watch whales every day on the lanai, it was easy to find, and very clean. The Java Jazz recommendation was a great one. We had some great food at Longhi's in Lahaina. We really made use of the front closet -- the snorkel stuff and boogie board came in handy. We left a couple of bottles of wine for the next guests. We had a great time and it was hard to drag my wife away! Hopefully we will be back in Hawaii soon! Thanks again,

Aloha Cathy/John…. We’re back and in love again….with Hawaii…hahaha…our family had an awesome 18 days in Oahu, Maui and Kona. We totally agreed that our best time was in your Condo…and that is compared against the Sheraton Waikiki and Hilton Waikola Village, so you should be very proud of your home away from home. We have no complaints whatsoever it was exactly what you described and had lots of extras that we didn’t expect…the extra spices, snorkel gear, mats, boogie boards.
