  • My Family and I were fortunate enough to spend our vacation at Villa Seis Amigos from April 26 2009 thru May 3, 2009. This was our first time vacationing in the Dominican.( wont be our last)From the onset of initial contact with the villa owner to the last ride back to the airport for our return flight home; was remarkable smooth and pleasurable experience. Every detail from airport transport to shopping, meals, errands, taxis, excursions, etc.was planned and arranged by a group of warm, professional, dependable Dominicans that work with the villa owner. Here's the break down:Accommodations- The Seis Amigos villa is in a PERFECT location in PLay Cofresi. There are ocean views from every room in the villa. The Staff (Antonia, Maria and Elios) meticulously maintained the villa inside and out. The space was extremely comfortable and very relaxing. The spirit in the villa is very warm, inviting and unpretentious. We all immediately felt like we were at home. The villa also has several outdoor balconies and sitting areas where you can kick back and enjoy the ocean-views or take a swim in your own private pool. Antonia, Maria and Elios were outstanding! They were very helpful and took excellent care of us. They washed our clothes and cooked all our meals. They also went to the grocery store with us to help shop for food. Antonia and Maria do not speak much English but Elios does and is very helpful with translating for you. Location- The villa is located in a quiet area but yet not too far from the city and other activities. You can take a 5-10 minute walk down the hill and be directly on the beach. You can also walk to Ocean World and several restaurants and bars along the beach. This is a very safe area, not one time did we feel afraid or uneasy. The Dominican people are very warm and friendly. It just amazes me that we (Americans) tend to insinuate that the Dominican is unsafe and dangerous. NOT TRUE!! It is no less safe than any other place in the U.S. Just use common sense and have a good time!! Transportation- The city of Puerto Plata is about a 15 minute cab ride from the villa. Elios will make arrangements for cab services for you. The cab driver were very timely and dependable. The fares were also very affordable. I highly recommend this villa. It will be the best decision of your vacation! It was truly one of the best vacations and experience of my life. We are making plans to return later this year.

  • Seis Amigos is absolutely beautiful with its modern amenities. A view of the ocean from every bedroom, the dining room and family rooms. Each bedroom has a private bath and balcony. Our group had a FABULOUS time. The housing staff members are wonderful people. I recommend this Villa without reservation. We will be going back!!!!

During the course of our stay, quite a few of our friends from Costambar stopped by for short visits- just to see the villa, and they were most impressed. Again, thank you for your hospitality.

    Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation in your lovely villa. It was just as advertised. Antonia, Mary, and Carlo were more than accommodating. They did everthing asked of them and with a smile. Antionia's cooking was wonderful and Mary kept the place absolutely ship shpe. Carlo kept the pool and the grounds immaculate and ran a few last minute errnads for us. You have all the right ingredients to keep your guests coming back year after year. We did tour several other villas while we were there, but none had us saying: I wish we had picked this one instead. We would definitley consider Seis Amigos for our next vacation. The only difference would be the length of stay. We all agreed 10- to 14 days would be the ultimate.
