What can I say. It was the best vacation we have ever taken. Everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived until the second we left, literally everything went as planned. We wanted a beautiful place to do a lot of relaxing, and Seis Amigos delivered in every aspect. We arrived at Puerto Plata airport and within 20 minutes of landing were in the van headed to this beautiful villa. The pictures on the website don't do it any justice. It's a pristine white villa perched up on a hill in THE perfect location. Fantastic views from every angle of what just looks like a postcard for paradise. We walked around looking at a lot of the other villas in the area, and we always came away thinking we got the best one.. As if that wasn't enough heaven, then there's the staff at this amazing place who will treat you like royalty from the moment you arrive. Antonia, Helios, Mery and Candido are extremely gracious and kind people that will make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. They keep the place immaculate and pristine, and yet somehow stay out of your way at the same time. I don't know how they did it, but they did. We didn't speak much spanish, but with the help of google translate and their patience, we were able to communicate just fine and they even taught us a few things by the end. You will go home missing Antonia's meals and everybody in general. The group of us that went have travelled all over the world at 5 star resorts and we all came away with the same impression, that it was the best vacation we have ever taken and we want to come back as soon as possible. I could go on and on, but as I write this i'm researching flights to come back to this same exact spot in paradise.

Our family of four stayed at Seis Amigos from 06/10/11 - 06/17/11 and absolutely loved it. We really didn't know what to expect, but we loved the house. You can see the ocean from every room in the house and the view is amazing. The staff was very welcoming and were there to assist if you needed anything. Every morning, they would come in and clean the entire house and do all of the laundry. They would also fix all of your meals for you. We like to cook, so we usually had them prepare breakfast for us. The day after we arrived, Gus stopped by to discuss the tours/excursions that were available. He made all of the arrangements for us and transportation would arrive at the villa to pick us up for each tour that we chose. The owners advised us NOT to rent a car because of the way the local people drive. We were VERY glad we took their advice. The only thing you need to consider is the cost of a taxi ride to town...$40 round trip. We only used the taxi service to take us to the grocery and on the day we chose to see the town. The driver did not leave us. He even went so far as to assist us with our grocery shopping. Our overall experience was great and we would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a very relaxing vacation. Not a lot to do within walking distance, but their are many tours/excursions for you to choose. Thank you to everyone who helped make this our best vacation yet.

My wife and I rented this villa for four weeks this winter, and absolutely loved it! The house is roomy, comfortable, and convenient to the beach and dining down the hill. The pictures tell the tale of the house quite well. It's close enough to town (Puerto Plata) to run errands, but far enough out to avoid the city itself. The staff are fantastic and always helpful. We also were very pleased with Gus, the tour operator, who was forthright and honest about what should be done or avoided--especially for our guests who were only there a week. Thanks for a wonderful vacation...we may well be back this December!

My husband and I just returned from 9 days at Sies Amigos. We had a wonderful time and did a lot of relaxing. Just what we needed to escape from our busy lives. The view was fantastic and the weather was absolutely perfect (Hurricane Season was no problem). We enjoyed the constant breezes from the ocean. Antonia and Helios were great and the food was good. We thought the cost of groceries and transportation was a little exhorbitant, however, we did not let it get in the way of enjoying ourselves. If you are looking for the perfect place to just hide away, then let me assure you this is it. We do recommend you have dinner at Ocean World at least once, for $100.00 we had dinner (Steak and Lobster), Las Vegas style show, Casino and Disco. Also you must go to Chris and Mady's for cocktails.

We just returned from a week long stay at seisamigos. Let me start out by saying the pictures do not do the Villa justice. The Villa was SPECTACULAR!!!!!! Antonia and Mery were wonderful!! I miss them already!!! The Villa was always spotless the laundry was done daily the food was cooked perfectly!!! My husband, myself and our 2 daughters (Ages 8 & 13) had a phenomenal time!!! We went to Ocean World and interacted with the Sea Lions which was awesome. We went snorkeling in Sosua. We took a city tour, went dune buggy riding, fishing and hung out poolside. We look foward to going back to seisamigos and seeing our new Dominican Family again!!!!

My Family and I were fortunate enough to spend our vacation at Villa Seis Amigos from April 26 2009 thru May 3, 2009. This was our first time vacationing in the Dominican.( wont be our last)From the onset of initial contact with the villa owner to the last ride back to the airport for our return flight home; was remarkable smooth and pleasurable experience. Every detail from airport transport to shopping, meals, errands, taxis, excursions, etc.was planned and arranged by a group of warm, professional, dependable Dominicans that work with the villa owner. Here's the break down:Accommodations- The Seis Amigos villa is in a PERFECT location in PLay Cofresi. There are ocean views from every room in the villa. The Staff (Antonia, Maria and Elios) meticulously maintained the villa inside and out. The space was extremely comfortable and very relaxing. The spirit in the villa is very warm, inviting and unpretentious. We all immediately felt like we were at home. The villa also has several outdoor balconies and sitting areas where you can kick back and enjoy the ocean-views or take a swim in your own private pool. Antonia, Maria and Elios were outstanding! They were very helpful and took excellent care of us. They washed our clothes and cooked all our meals. They also went to the grocery store with us to help shop for food. Antonia and Maria do not speak much English but Elios does and is very helpful with translating for you. Location- The villa is located in a quiet area but yet not too far from the city and other activities. You can take a 5-10 minute walk down the hill and be directly on the beach. You can also walk to Ocean World and several restaurants and bars along the beach. This is a very safe area, not one time did we feel afraid or uneasy. The Dominican people are very warm and friendly. It just amazes me that we (Americans) tend to insinuate that the Dominican is unsafe and dangerous. NOT TRUE!! It is no less safe than any other place in the U.S. Just use common sense and have a good time!! Transportation- The city of Puerto Plata is about a 15 minute cab ride from the villa. Elios will make arrangements for cab services for you. The cab driver were very timely and dependable. The fares were also very affordable. I highly recommend this villa. It will be the best decision of your vacation! It was truly one of the best vacations and experience of my life. We are making plans to return later this year.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had the most wonderful time. Antonia and Mery were charming and Elio was a great translator. During the course of our stay, quite a few of our friends from Costambar stopped by for short visits- just to see the villa, and they were most impressed. Again, thank you for your hospitality.
