Our country home welcomes you to bring your family or friends for a weekend getaway or holiday in the East Texas Piney Woods. Our home location is 2623 county road 2801, just off highway 21W (El Camino Real), in the Cold Springs Community near Alto, Texas. A historic area about Texans, Spaniards, and Indians.

A safe, relaxed environment for you to enjoy the serenity of the pines and the freshness of country living. We offer king size beds, full size kitchen, 1 bath, large living area and dining room. Just bring your favorite food and clothes then pretend it's your home for a short stay. There is no TV or internet services provided however, there is cell phone reception available in this area. Children and pets are welcomed.

Bring your bikes and ride the county road, walk along the spring fed streams of our property, view the wildlife, or just sit on the porch while drinking a cup of coffee. Great for the holidays, family reunions, hunting accomodations, or just come to relax.
Just bring food, clothes, family or friends and enjoy a week or weekend.

The Texas State Railroad offers weekend train rides between Rusk and Palestine with reservations. For guest with their own small aircraft, the Cherokee County Airport is located just north of Rusk. Car Rental services are available in Rusk @ Bob Francis Ford. Cold Springs Cabin is our newest addition to our hospitaliy accomodations along with the improvement of an on site-fishing reservior. The fishing will be Catch & Release Type program. There is a National Forest and hunting clubs for seasonal deer and year round wild hogs hunts.
