Perched over the Town of Jackson, New Hampshire, this remarkable 19th Century Victorian Castle was built in 1891 for General Wentworth and his wife. The castle was designed to be reminiscent of an English manor house complete with two conical turrets. While made completely of stone on the outside with walls several feet thick, the inside of the Castle is a quintessential example of the very best of Victorian design and workmanship. Located directly across the street from the Wildcat River and Jackson Falls, the Castle sits largely hidden among almost two private acres. With mountain views, and just a stroll down the hill to the center of Jackson, the entire setting seems like a 'Currier and Ives' painting come to life. An amazing site for your special occasion or event, a stay in the Castle will be remembered forever.

Memories that will last forever!
Guest: Maidstone Mystery Weekend Gang!!

There were 6 couples who met at the Wentworth Castle and we had an extrodinary weekend!! It was the first destination of our annual mystery weekends.... and one not to be forgotten! The photos and description don't do this property justice .. it so much more beautiful than described!! The antiques, the furnishings and attention to detail were much appreciated by all. The kitchen / pantry was well stocked. There was plenty of room for all of us in the various sitting rooms and dining room. The weather was cooperative so we were able to do some grilling and enjoy the outside sitting areas. The views from the bedroom windows were spectacular. The women felt like princesses .. (course the tieras helped to set the tone!!) The owners ensured that everything was perfect on our arrival. It was a weekend we will never forget . . our weekend at Wentworth Castle!!
