Location: Valdoro Mountain Lodge, Four O'Clock, Breckenridge, Northwest, Colorado, USA (about 70 miles west of Denver airport on Interstate 70)

At the foot of the slopes in Breckenridge, two short hours from Denver, Valdoro Mountain Lodge is the perfect home away from home. My first impression of Valdoro was: "This is just as nice as my home" (and I have a VERY nice home!). The lodge is a short walk to the ski lifts and to main street shopping (great!).

The beds are comfortable; the washer and dryer so appreciated, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, the parking is underneath the lodge in a garage, there's a small convenience store by the lobby, and you can schedule massages and more in house. We love to relax in Breckenridge, and because the lodge is so comfortable, we truly feel we have another home.

The staff are courteous and helpful. There's also a free shuttle bus from the lodge if you want to ride the two blocks to Main street. A large grocery store is nearby. Should you desire to see Vail, CO, it's only about a 35 minute drive away. A fantastic outlet mall is located in Silverthorn, only about 20 minutes down the road. Breckenridge is a prime ski location. The beauty of Mother Nature is awesome.

Notes on the bedroom situations: The master has one king bed; private bath with whirlpool as well as a separate shower. Bedroom two has two twin beds. Bathroom two has a large tub and shower. Both bedrooms have a TV. The living room also has a TV and a sofa sleeper. The sofa sleeper is great for kids. You will have your very own hot tub.

This is a prime location and place to stay in Breckenridge! You will not be disappointed! Renters comments: January 29, 2006 - "We have rented here three of the last four ski seasons and will rent again" A TripAdvisor Member, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

"We've just spent a week at the new Valdoro Mountain Lodge and were very impressed. This is a brand new, deluxe property, steps away from downtown shops and restaurants of Breckenridge. The condos are set in a "hotel," with a very customer-service minded staff including a concierge and fitness center. There is a nice heated pool steps away from the property, shared with other condo properties - and it is clean and safe for the kids.

The condos within Valdoro are outstanding. Each has its own fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, and all appliances and pots and pans. Huge bedrooms with oversized Jacuzzi tubs, plush cotton robes, a large living room with a gas fireplace and lovely balcony, large TVs with DVDs. We loved having our own washer and dryer, and there was a small store within the "hotel" for newspapers and sundries. Buying food for breakfast and lunches and eating in was a real treat!"
