Private ocean access located just across the street -- equipped with new furnishings plus range, microwave and dishwasher and refrigerator -- hardwood floors throughout -- overlooks pool in tropical setting -- three tennis courts, shuffleboard and large indoor pool/hot tub/sauna/exercise facility also available at the resort for guests' use -- elevator for convenience.
This condo is open and airy and provides a serene environment for relaxing after a day of fun in the sun. Historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium are located within walking/biking distance. Minutes to ferry to historic Southport as well as the Kure Beach fishing pier.
My favorite thing about my condo is that it is minutes away from everything I could ever want to do, yet I feel like I am in my own world when I come here. Nestled amongst the treetops, you are sure to enjoy a peaceful vacation. Ocean Dunes as an entire resort also adds to the feeling of peacefulness. Located at the end of the island, most of the hustle and bustle stays just north of you. Lush vegetation, and a quiet atmosphere further add to the serenity.
This condo in the Ocean Dunes resort is also completely and comfortably furnished for a long-term accommodation (several months to a year). It is perfect for someone working in Wilmington, NC or elsewhere in the area who desires an affordable escape to the beach lifestyle in the evenings and on weekends. You need bring nothing more than personal items. All Ocean Dunes amenities are included!

About the owner: I'm quite interested in decorating, so I am constantly updating and enhancing the decor and comfort of my condo.
Why the Owner Chose Kure Beach:
Kure Beach is beautiful and serene with a wonderful beach and historic Ft. Fisher right in my back yard. It is on Pleasure Island (what better name is there?) and yet it is only 20 minutes from Wilmington, NC, a jewel of a small city that has so much history, entertainment, and excellent restaurants. There is never a feeling of nothing to do here. It is more a matter of trying decide what can be squeezed in.
