BLACK BEAR DEN, a beautiful 1 bedroom, 2 bath with loft cabin features a queen size bed in the main floor master suite and a futon - sofa bed in the upstairs loft. There is also a queen-size air matress should a friend find you in the mountains! BLACK BEAR DEN also comes complete with all the linens and cooking necessities you could imagine. But you won't want to spend time in the kitchen when there's so much to do.

BLACK BEAR DEN is located with 5 miles of the historic John C. Campbell Folk School and the antique and craft shops of Brasstown. Downtown Murphy is just a short 10 minute drive and features an Indian Museum, cafes, coffee shop, olde fashion candy store, a stylish boutique and lots of great antique stores. And yes, antiquing is a favorite pasttime of many of our visitors and you can find many wonderful shops without having to travel too far.

Murphy is conveniently situated halfway between great white water rafting on both the Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers. You will be only 90 minutes from Ruby Ralls/Rock City in Chattanooga, The indian Reservation and Harrahs Casino in Cherokee, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge or the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville.
