Our home is located in the High Pointe Resort Condominiums Complex in the center of Seacrest Beach, Florida near Rosemary Beach. We are only 5-10 minutes from the well know areas of Seaside, Water Colors and 15-20 minutes from Destin/Sandestin, Fla. High Pointe Resort is exquisitely landscaped and consists of 5 building units with over 600 ft of private beach on the emerald water. Our unit faces the lagoon pool, the ocean and beach are only a very short stroll away directly through the lagoon pool. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance from our home. So, if you desire, you may just walk or drive to many fine eateries.

Our condominium is located on the ground floor facing the lagoon pool. The High Pointe Resort has on-site security within a gated entrance. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained allowing for privacy and if you wish glimpsing views of the lagoon pool. To reach the pool, you are less than 10 steps away.

  • Convertible Bed: The living room sofa converts to a queen size bed and linens are provided for this accomodation.

  • Shared Pool: The lagoon pool is massive. The pool has plenty of relaxing lounges and has two water falls surrounded by lushous landscaping.
• Kitchen
  • Full Kitchen: A full stocked kitchen will all amenties: stove, refrigerator, microware, toaster, blender, mixer, crock pot and a coffee pot. If you would like to put something in the crock pot in the morning and have it ready by the time you come in from the beach. We can refer you to a service that offers the kitchen to be full stocked when you arrive to make life even easier, just let us know if you need their help.
  • Cooking Utensils Provided: Our condo offers every thing you will need for a full working kitchen. Just a reminder: The restaurants are so good here, you may not want to cook! A coffee shop and the deli at Rosemary Beach is right there which is within walking distance each morning too! Everyone really loves this feature. Very convenient places for breakfast, lunch and dinner, deserts, and fine wine boutiques. Cooking is also an option, should you wish. Also, in Sandestin, cooking classes and a dinner meal are offered (thru reservations and when available) to many of the local chefs. Limited seating available.
  • Refrigerator: With a freezer section, for those days out fishing with Ice maker.
  • Dishwasher: Yes.

  • Catering Available: Oh so many restaurant's offer this service in our area. Also, if you need a banquet area, you may rent one at the Sanddestin Bay Town location or at Eden Gardens State Park (old antibellum home).
• Outdoor Features
  • Charcoal BBQ Grill: Just bring you steaks**, hamburgers**, seafood, hot dogs and empty stomachs and lets grill! ** Down the road about 4 miles on the Panama City Beach back road is the best meat market within 200 miles and the cheapest wine and liquor store (all the locals as well as the caterers go to Carousel's Supermarket - an old timey local grocery store -- nothing fancy - but they have been in business for over 60 years). It is a great place for grilled meat. It certainly is unique in a lot of ways. Their steaks are cheap and really really tender. You can order a large order by phone and pick up what you need from their butcher any morning. We have never gotten a tough or bad steak there. Never! Well worth the 10 min drive.
  • Deck/Patio: See Lanai (or patio as it is called in other parts of the country) out side of Florida.
  • Lanai: Just out our sliding doors, on the open lanai, we have a table with 4 chairs and a reclining lounge for your use. It is like having your own secluded private grounds with the grass and lush landscaping surrounding you. Our condo has two entrances to the lanai, one from the living room and one from the Master Bedroom. Pick one or open both doors for a cool breeze. (But remember to close the front door or the breeze will close it for you-loudly).
  • Gazebo: The beach walk out lounge offers a full bar with food and drink. (Closed during winter months). Their food is really good too.
• View/Location
  • Beach View: High Pointe Resort is located directly on the 600 ft of exclusive beach access.
  • Ocean View: The ocean is directly on the other side of the lagoon pool through the beach walk. The view is absolutely fabulous! You can see for miles in any direction.
• Communications
  • Telephone: The kitchen telephone is a portable phone for walking around inside or out on the lanai. A phone is available in the master bedroom.
  • Broadband Internet: Free unlimited DSL Broadband available. Bring your computer if you can not live without it, like me.
  • WiFi (Wireless Internet): This is available but the fee is $25.00 per day.
• Suitability
  • No Pets Allowed: We are truely sorry but that does not mean you can not be near your beloved pet. You can bring your pets for kennel stays. We have several kennels located on 30-A (street/hwy location to the condo) and in Destin which we highly recommend. We keep out pets with these kennels 7-8 times a year. They are clean, nice and your pet's will be well taken care of by the establishment's staff's. Email us for the names and phone number's, if desired.
  • Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): If you are wheelchair bound, our unit is on the ground floor, right at the parking area, with ramp access and with covered access in and out easily. We are unable to provide a wheelchair bath but all the doors and hall are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair in and out. Rosemary Beach has a wheelchair ramp access. All our door's and handles on the door's are with a handle for easy access.
  • Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations): Breach access not accessible by wheelchair.
  • Kid Friendly: Your children will be screaming for the fun just waiting for them once they lay eyes on the pool. Our lagoon pool and hot tub which is grand. If you have children, this is the place. We have, for the smallest children, a playground and of course the beach for building sand castles. The pool offer's a nice child's wading pool for the littler one's up to 7 and a hot tub any time of the year.
  • Minimum Age Limit for Renters: You must have one adult, at least 25 years of age, that will be responsible for the rental agreement and must be on-site during the rental period.
  • Smoking Not Allowed: Smoking is not allowed in the unit. You may smoke(with the sliding doors closed) on the Lanai or outside in the yard area, or at the pool or beach.

  • We stayed in this lovely condo and it was so nice and quite but near enough to everything(out of so much conjection). The beach was not so busy that you could not enjoy it. Plenty of room. The condo was very very clean. Some we have stayed in were not, so to find one that is well kept is nice. We really enjoyed the Tiki Bar between the lagoon pool and the beach. You could go out there have a hot dog or burger and a drink and not have to go in an cook or get dressed to eat. Just go in you swim suit and sit and relax. We had lunch there every single day. Because this condo was on the first floor, we did not have to drag all our luggage or groceries up the elevator or stairs. The next time we are coming down with the whole family and have requested this unit and the one next door, if it is still on the rentals. You just get out of your car and walk through the glass doors and into the condo. That was really nice. They had everything we needed in the unit. We loved the lagoon pool. There is so much room and so many chairs you do not have to hurry down every morning and put a towel on a chair to have one. They had plenty of lounges. Because the pool is so big, you are not sitting on some one that may or may not have children and if you want to read a book you have piece and quite to your self. Yes indeed, we would stay in this unit again. We have stayed in Destin with all it's conjestion and this is so.... much better and just as convenient to all of the eating and shopping but certainly not as noisy.
