Our town offers fine dining, biking, boating, swimming,fishing,John's Pass (over 2 million visitors per year)We have 3 grocery stores within a 3 mile radius and it's a short drive to all Florida attractions. Our town permits riding bikes and alcoholic beverages on our beaches. Our beach has never needed renourishment because of our 'groin' system which keeps our sparkling white sand from eroding. Most people think of St Pete Beach when they think of gulf Beaches but Madeira is the beach where people return to once they find us. My wife and I bought this house in 2003 because it is serenly positioned 9 houses away from busy Gulf Blvd. and just a 4 minute walk to the beach for daily sunset watching. We totally and meticulously renovated with the plan of living there forever. the lush landscaping in the back yard is irreplacably. We have one of the biggest sea grape trees I've seen. the parrots and other birds eat and drink daily at our oasis. This home has features which would never be added to a rental property. The only reason we moved 1 mile away is because we found a nearly new duplex directly on the Gulf. (vrbo #230241). We love to garden at our canal home and enjoy the landscape ,nature and our docks for fishing and boating. Our beach home gives us a different lifestyle. We love sharing both experiences with our guests.
