We are a couple that is in our 60's and we travel to the West every winter to go and stay at different ski towns. Basically we take three months every winter and hit all the ski areas in the West...isn't it great being retired! The unit was well cleaned, had lots of new upgrades and updates. The other thing is that it was well stocked with everything that we needed. The owners have figured out to replace things like the coffee maker, toaster & other things that get used often each year, which makes it nice that we weren't using an old, dirty appliance. The unit was extremely comfortable and it felt like someone actually lived there, rather than a stale condo that is empty all the time. The beds were really REALLY comfortable, which is perfect after a day of hard skiing. There were tons and tons of towels for the unit & for taking towels to the pool. The washer & dryer worked great as well, which is really helpful if your going to be staying longer. There is new furniture, which is nice and comfortable and roomy for everyone to be in the main room. There are two new flat screen TV's. The Wi-Fi is great and super fast and secure. There is even a printer in one of the closets stocked with paper, which we actually used a couple of times. The owner must be a skier, because the front closet has a ski rack for you to put all your skis and equipment on it, which get dried out for the next day. There is also a little heater next to the fireplace for you to dry out gloves, etc. The unit is located in the best spot in Red Pine. We could actually see the bubble lift from the deck, which was cool. The views are amazing from the deck. It is a perfect distance from the clubhouse and a short walk to the lifts too. Honestly, this is the best spot in Red Pine with the large pine trees and views. OWNERS: The owners were simply amazing. They were always super responsive to any of our requests. Anytime we had any concern it was met with a desire to understand and then desire to quickly respond to whatever it was that we had a question about. We called and asked them about a really nice place to eat and we were sent an email with some different choices and reviews...totally exceeding our expectations. Also, we had a question on how to work something and he was willing to drive up and show us if we wanted him to. Simply Put, we would come back and will come back year after year. You cannot go wrong with this unit!

We stayed here over the weekend and couldn't be happier. The view was great, the location was perfect, and most of all, we felt well taken care of. The condo catered to every need we could have had, from soft bedding to cleaning supplies. Best place we've stayed so far. We'll definitely be back! See you soon!

Yes, there was new tile, appliances semi-new and bedroom furniture was decent - BUT, the patio area-furniture, BBQ grill was awful and so filthy that we couldn't be on the deck. The fireplace screen was so dirty you couldn't see inside. Dusty and dirty inside as well -- cleaning crew did not do their job. We had to clean dust and cobwebs off of furniture, window sills and railings. The place was so hot when we walked in (no A/C - not even a swamp cooler) it took until the next morning to cool down even a bit. It says 2 bedrooms -- well, not really. The upstairs (where the king bed is) looks over the living room and into the loft where the twin beds are - so really not a bedroom, just an oversized loft. So, you all have to go to bed at the same time or the TV, talking will disturb everyone! Plus, the downstairs bathroom shower was so disgustingly dirty with 3 live bugs, lots of visible rust and mold in the tub on the shower curtain that my daughters wouldn't use it - so consequently 5 of us shared the upstairs shower. This is a small older complex, but the clubhouse and pool area were nice -- the kitchen was so small and no counter space for much of anything. So, we only ate breakfast at the condo because we couldn't BBQ like we wanted. So, NO we won't be back. We have stayed at much nicer condos that were CLEAN. We expect a clean condo (including patio) if we are paying for a cleaning deposit.
Owner response:Unfortunately these tenants were not satisfied with anything as hard as we tried to please them. As you can see from our other feedback we take special care of our tenants to make sure they have an enjoyable time. These renters didn't make us aware that they were unhappy until their stay was over, thus we never had the opportunity to try and satisfy them while they were in our unit. I believe they wanted to leave bad feedback more than giving us the chance to make them happy. None of the units in the Red Pine community have air conditioning. These renters knew there was no air conditioning and the time they came to Park City was an unseasonable warm time. We had renters in our unit right before they arrived and those renters said the unit was very clean and there were no issues with the unit not being clean. Everything said about how dirty our unit is a lie. If it were as dirty as they claim, then certainly at least one out of all of our other renters would have said something. I am sorry these renters didn't feel as if our unit was to their expectation. We strive to make our renters happy regardless of the situation, even paying for a hotel or another unit to provide a worry-free stay. Hopefully all of our other feedback speaks for itself that we work really hard to make our unit comfortable for our renters.

The Powderhouse was a perfect condo for out vacation in Park Cit/The Canyons! The condo was clean with great amenities like WIFI, gas fireplace, flat screen TV, etc. The location was super easy, walking to The Canyons lift system and super close to the Clubhouse with pool and sweet outdoor hot tub. And the owners were awesome - they made booking really easy, getting into the property a breeze, and gave us great suggestions for where to ski, where to eat, and even on an amazing day of cat skiing. Thanks Powderhouse, we'll be back!

We spend 4 wonderful nights at the Powderhouse! It was perfect for our family. My 4 year old daughter was enamored with the cozy little loft bedroom with two twin beds. Our toddler slept well in the downstairs bedroom (soundproof!) and my husband and I loved the huge king bed upstairs. The house has everything you need! It was well stocked with laundry supplies and little things like trash bags and cleaning supplies. The house is located a short walk to the Canyons gondola. Whole Foods market is just down the street. Perfect base for a ski trip!

The condo was awesome and just as advertised. The ski hill was only a 5 minute walk and having free wireless internet and laundry in the condo was awesome. The condo was very clean and comfortable and McKenna was extremely easy to work with as far as the reservation was concerned. I will definitely rent J7 again.

The unit was perfectly situated. We had easy access to Dear Valley, the Canyons and Park City's Main Street. Even the trips to Snowbasin were traffic free. Our family of six fit very comfortably and having a washer and dryer in the unit was a luxury. You couldn't find a better place in the same price range.

We enjoyed staying in this unit. It was very convenient to Park City and the various ski areas. We skied 5 different mountains in 6 days. The unit and its amenities including the pool and hot tubs are excellent.

A very fine unit, cozy, and well maintained. Owners and maint. staff very helpful and available. We especially liked the nearby clubhouse facility with heated pool and spa. One caution - the lift mentioned is not easy to walk to when snowplows have obliterated walkways. Otherwise, a very fine value.

Rental was great - we found the owners incredibly helpful and the condo was perfect for us. It is very convenient to the slopes and the skiing at the Canyons was great. The owners helped us with everything from restaurant recommendations to advice on ski rentals. The unit is very nicely laid out and we was able to comfortably sleep 8 people. The rooms were nicely decorated and felt like home. We enjoyed the outdoor pool at the clubhouse. All in all we couldn't recommend this rental highly enough.
