This is a great spot directly across the highway from Old Town Winter Park (think - Adolph's, Ski Exchange, etc) so you can park and hop the bus or drive over to the main WP entrance. The property has amazing views of Winter Park Mountain and easy access to both the hill and town. At night we could sit in the hot tub on the deck and pick out the constellations - very cool. Plenty of room for multiple families with kids, nice furnishings and appliances, big dining table for the group. Loved our stay!

Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway.

This home was perfect for our 11 person group (6 adults, 5 kids aged 2 to 12, 1 infant). The bedrooms, bathrooms and living area are very spacious. Had everything we needed, from a pack n play, to games, to kitchen equipment. The hot tub is awesome and was a huge success with the kids. Fireplace is so nice in the evenings. Beds are very comfortable. Location is perfect - directly across the US highway 40 from the ski resort. If you rent your equipment at the base of the mountain nearest the Gemini Express lift, you could easily just walk the distance (equivalent of about 5 blocks or so) to get your gear and go up. Our group parked our car in the free parking lot directly across the highway because we got there early enough, but on weekends the lot fills up by 8:45 am.

Large beautiful home, nice furniture and bedding, great location with everything you needed for your stay. It looked exactly like it was pictured on website. We arrived earlier than expected but were allowed to check in and unpack, which was greatly appreciated, We had 4 families that stayed here very comfortably. So close to the ski lifts too. Enjoyed the hot tub and the huge Weber gas grill .Would highly recommend this lovely vacation home!

This is a great house, great location and perfect for a large family or two families! It has all the amentities of home while being in a great ski resort.The fireplace was warm and inviting and the kids loved the hot tub! The view is totally awesome and its just minutes away to the grocery store and restaurants and shops in Winter park.Thanks for wonderful stay in your lovely home.We will be back again!

The house was exactly as described and fit our entire famiy to a "t"!! The amount of rooms were absolutely perfect for all 11 of us and the room downstairs was a great "hide away" for the 4 kiddos. Between my parents, us, my sis and hubby and my best friend, we all had out own rooms. Betsy was AMAZING to work with and definitely has future renters. She answered every question I had and even e-mailed suggestions for us for Thanksgiving! =) PERFECT location to everything, it is literaly across highway 40 and you could walk to the base. We have been coming to Winter Park for years and have stayed in many places in the past and nothing has paled in comparison to this Lakota home!! We will definitely be coming back here for sure!! All of the ladies hopped in the truck and headed to Safeway when we got there and stocked up on groceries and of course did a little shopping in between, HA!! I would recommend this home to all of our family and friends, this home literally k kicked our socks off and have yet to find them!!! Until next time......THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU again!!!! This house was a perfect fit for our four family party on a long weekend to Winter Park. The house was large enough for plenty of privacy and protection from noise - we never felt like we were in each others' way, even with 8 adults and 4 children. The location is ideal - less than a 5 min walk from WP base parking. The house was well-maintained and equipped; the one maintenance issue we had was resolved the same day. The mountain view from the hot tub was unbeatable. And the owners were super-helpful in finding a second pack-n-play and a second high chair to accommodate our party. I would highly recommend this house!

We had an awesome time! The home is convenient to everything! The ski resort was in an eyes view. Literally!!! This home was very comfortable and absolutely gorgeous!! We were 3 different famines and there was more than enough room. We will be going back!!

Brought a small group for employee retreat and had a blast. The condo was clean, comfortable, well furnished and has a great location. Highly recommended.

Excellent Condo for a family Christmas/Ski trip

We truly loved staying at this condo over Christmas 2010. We had our whole family (11 people; 4 families: 2 couples, 1 family with 2 teens and 1 family with a 5 yo). The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for us, and the girls all loved the bunkroom downstairs. With both leaves and chairs, we had plenty of room for Christmas dinner. We enjoyed a great Christmas week (wonderful views of the celebration at Winter Park on the 24th) and super-super easy access to the ski resort. All of the amenities were as listed, and really, the pictures don't do justice. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a larger condo for a family get-away. The owners were great to deal with, and it was so nice to be welcomed with a plate of cookies and peppermint brownies from the management company.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Winter Park...wonderful house! We had more than enough space and beds. The house is beautiful and includes everything you would need for a family vacation. Located close to all the Winter Park activities...Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent place with great views and many upgrades! Our family had a wonderful time, we were right across the street from Winter Park Resort, and had great views of the mountains. We had fun playing in the yard and sledding down the drive. The heated floors were a great surprise!

We had such a great time at this place. It has a wonderful layout for a large crowd. Proximity to the slopes is great for skiing. It has everything you're hoping for in a ski condo plus more. The hot tub on the front with a view of the slopes is hard to beat. Wonderful kitchen with all of the cooking utensils you'll need. Large and spacious master suites.

We just returned from a marvelous time in Winter Park! Three families rented this property together and it was just perfect! Plenty of space, beautiful furnishings, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms, great views - I could go on! We will definitely use this property again!

We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay in this home! It is immaculate, comfortable, convenient,and beautifully decorated. No picture can do justice for the view from the living room or the hot tub! We have vacationed at WP for many years, and this home is, by far our favorite place we've stayed. The owner's haven't forgotten a thing. They have been extremely nice to work with and seem to enjoy sharing their beautiful home.
