This beautiful villa is close to the village of Porches and the buzzing resort of Armação de Pêra with good restaurants and a long sandy beach. It is also a short drive from the lively resort of Praia do Carvoeiro. The interior is bright and sunny and is furnished using primary colours with large paintings by a local artist. Each bedroom has its own colour scheme with coordinating soft furnishings and all the bathrooms have corner baths. The modern kitchen is very well equipped with an enormous fridge freezer, Hob and built-in cooker. The sitting room is beautifully furnished with a plush curved sofa, a contemporary dining suite and a wood burning stove. Pool Heating is included for early or late season holidays and there are mosquito nets on all doors and windows. The swimming pool is lit using LED coloured lights, operated by a remote control, which can either give a disco effect or can be muted to create a relaxing ambience and there is a poolside gazebo and dining terrace.

I am very pleased to advise that in co-operation with our Villa Manager we have engaged the services of a Chef and have now introduced a range of very special Villa Catering Services for you and your Party. Each Menu option has been specially designed at competitive prices so that you and your Party are free to relax and enjoy your stay at our Villa and your Holiday in the Algarve. Not only do we organise everything for you at a pre agreed time and price, we also return at an agreed time to clear everything away.
If our Catering Service is of interest, please request an example Menu option for Breakfast and let me know if you would like further information on the full variety of Catering Services we can offer you should you decide to make a reservation.
The number of persons you wish to have catered for is entirely a decision for you, as is the frequency and catering type such as BREAKFAST - LUNCH or a BBQ.

Outside: The Swimming Pool Heating System includes a fitted Heat Retention Cover. As a consequence, Swimming is possible all year round however, we cannot guarantee the pool temperature as this depends on the prevailing weather conditions.
Villa Marianna has two mobile Weber Bbq with all the necessary BBQ equipment. The advantage of the Weber BBQ are that you can have a BBQ anywhere you wish. Outside dining facilities are located on both the Pool Terrace and on the Kitchen Terrace. On the Kitchen Terrace there is a large very attractive Marquee that provides the necessary shade from the sun when dining during the day and a very special location for dining at night. The Marquee is illuminated at might providing a very special location for those very late and warm summer evenings.
Golf: Portugal, and in particular, the Algarve, is renowned for its magnificent Golf Courses which is why it is considered a golfer's paradise. There are many courses within easy reach of Vila Marianna such as The Pinta and The Gramacho courses at neighbouring Carvoeiro. There's also the championship course of Penina just a ten minute drive away. Keen golfers' find that the location of this Villa ideal to combine both a beach and golfing holiday and it also works well for partners and families who do not participate in the sport.
Porches and its Central Location: The picture-postcard village of Porches lies just off the EN125 main road, midway between Alcantarilha and Lagoa. The area is noted for its classic white regional-style houses punctuated with striking decorated chimneys.
Miles of gorgeous, golden, sandy beaches, calm clear waters and bays interspersed with rugged cliffs and enchanting grottoes; the Algarve is amongst the top European holiday destinations. The South of Portugal was the last place to gain independence from the Moors in 1292, conquered by the King Dom Afonso III and even today traces of the Moorish presence are visible in the unique terraces, chimneys and whitewashed villas. Despite the obvious influence of tourism, a short drive inland reveals the true Algarve where life goes on much as it has for many centuries. This brightly coloured region with orange groves, almond trees in blossom and fragrant pines is also the most verdant and fertile. Sports enthusiasts will find ideal conditions and top class facilities.
