The apartment is located just a block and a half from both Las Heras Park and Shopping Alto Palermo (shopping mall), four blocks from the botanical gardens and easy walking distance to the zoo and the extensive Palermo parks system. Within two blocks there are many fine restaurants, cafes, stores and eight movie screens. In addition, it is about a ten minute walk through elegant sections of Palermo and Recoleta to Recoleta cemetery and the Buenos Aires Design Center. It is also about a 10 minute walk to the heart of Palermo Viejo (aka Palermo Soho) and then on to "Palermo Hollywood." The "D" line of the Subte (the city’s subway system), located just two blocks away, can whisk you to Teatro Colon in seven minutes and to Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada in ten. And taxis are never hard to find. The Eva Peron Museum, the Decorative Arts Museum, MALBA, and several other museums are all short walks.
