I stayed in this property for 3 weeks and absolutely loved it. The location was excellent, close to Starbucks, Shopping, Metro, and Parks. The apartment itself is very nice, well equipped and spacious. I was very pleased with the office that is set up, I was able to communicate with the US easily, fax/print documents and the WiFi signal was strong.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, adult children, and I spent one week in this apartment in May. We had a wonderful time and the apartment was very comfortable and in a great neighborhood. The weather was somewhat cool when we were there so it was very nice walking around, and we did a lot of that. Close to several lovely parks. Arenales is a great street to just walk, it will take you all the way to Avenida 9 de Julio. We found ourselves going back to La Pharmacia to eat regularly, it was so good. And if you don't speak Spanish very well, they actually have their menus in English too, and they are very friendly. Don't waste your time or money at La Payuca. Martin was very helpful, the whole experience at the apartment was positive. The internet phone to the U.S. was particularly nice to keep in touch. Even though there were five of us, we always felt like we had some space if we needed it. Just a short distance to a grocery store, and lots of options for eating out. I would definitely go back.

My friend and I stayed in this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment at the end of February for 5 nights. We had a great time, great neighborhood, great food nearby, lots of shopping and convenient to the metro. The pictures don't even do the apt justice, it's really big and well air conditioned and lots of closets, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, good linens and Martin was great. He greeted us, took our deposit and then was available by cell as we needed him and later came back as arranged to return our deposit. We'll go back to Buenos aires and hope we can stay here again.

Owner response:In addition, there is a third bedroom and a three-quarters bath at the other end of the apartment which Maeva and her friend did not use.

Great Palermo location to experience the Porteño lifestyle

We just returned from spending two weeks in Buenos Aires and couldn’t have chosen a better vacation rental in Buenos Aires. Bruce & Tom have created a space of comfort and elegant simplicity that beckons its visitors to experience Buenos Aires as an adopted Porteño. The condos corner location and art deco architecture allow plenty of sunlight to flow into the merging of modern décor with original artwork and classic hardwood floors. The Palermo location places the visitor in a residential neighborhood dotted with all the necessities of the Porteño lifestyle, - cafes, panderias, gourmet food shops, restaurants, parks, museums, salons, lavendarias, fruit and vegetable stands and is just a few blocks from the Green line of the Subte which runs parallel to Santa Fe Avenue a main artery for another favorite Porteño pastime (shopping)! The condo is well equipped with helpful travel guides and personal and guest recommendations and if one is inspired to blaze their own path toward discovery the fast internet access is extremely helpful for gathering information. If you need to connect with family, friends or work the free international phone line is a true gift and enabled us to surprise my parents who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Montreal! The kitchen is well equipped and allows those that have a culinary passion to enjoy the allure of the cities market culture and great wine shops. Martin is a kind and welcoming and served as our BA local liaison. He welcomed and oriented us and stepped in with invaluable information and expertise in making our experience in Palermo the best that it could be! Buenos Aires exceeded all of our expectations and we are certain to return to this memorable city and to the condo that became our Porteño home. Thank you Martin, Bruce and Tom for setting the stage for an unforgettable experience!

This well located, clean, safe, modern but excellent period details, apartment is a complete find! The owners and on-site manager are extremely helpful Shopping and varied wonderful restaurants are all within walking distance. The bus and ¨subte¨ (subway) are both 2 minutes walk away! The laundry facilities in the apartment are a huge plus, the water is hot and the kitchen has everything you might need! We will look forward to returning to Buenos Aires if we can stay here again!

Mt family of 5 stayed in Bruce's apartment for 4 nights. It is fantastic, great location, modern quality furnishings, very comfortable beds and everything provided for an enjoyable stay. I have stayed in 2 other rental apartments in BA and this is by far the best. In addition to the apartment itself, Bruce responded very promptly to my inquiries and everything went extremely smoothly with being let into the apartment, checkout and paying. We will definitely try to stay here again when back in Buenos Aires.

One of the best decisions we made on our fantastic trip to BsAs was staying at this apartment. Being my first time renting an apartment like this (instead of staying in a hotel) I was a little nervous, but everyone involved was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We were a group of four friends and it was perfect for us and our needs; separate rooms, a functional kitchen, and nice common areas. The building is conveniently located, well-kept and quiet. The apartment itself is plenty spacious, with lots of light, quality furnishings, and it also has all of the little things of which you might find yourself in need (i.e. wine glasses, a hair dryer, a few extra electrical converters, etc.) I particularly appreciated that it has plenty of hot water & water pressure, as well as two phones: one for local calls and one for US calls For all of the great things we saw and did in the city, one of my favorite memories is coming back to the apartment every day in the late afternoon, all of us grabbing a snack and a glass of wine and sitting around in the living room chatting, or out on the patio watching the sunset. The apartment was perfect particularly for that time of day, before we took our naps and then went out to dinner & wherever else our BsAs evening took us...

I stayed at this great condo back in December 2006 and then again in early April 2009. It's a beautiful place in a vibrant neighborhood: modern/art deco style with large rooms, lots of light, great location. The condo is on a tree lined street very close to several gorgeous old parks, the subway line to the city center, shopping, and many restaurants and cafes. Everything worked, there's a new quiet AC system and lots of water pressure. I would cerrtainly recommend staying here and look forward to returning soon.

We enjoyed are stay at this well appointed and centrally located condo to many great restaurants, shopping and parks. It has a modern feeling and is very comfortable. The pictures on the website were very representative of the actual condo. We made several meals and cocktails in the well stocked kitchen. During those warm humid nights, the a/c was very efficient in keeping the place cool. The patio was a nice place to sit and have coffee in the morning and drinks at night. The two bathrooms came in handy too. The building is very clean and secure. We will definitely being staying here again.

One of the best decisions we made was staying at this apartment. Central to everything, comfortable, stylish(!),very well maintained, great neighborhood. Can't say enough about the efficient management. We were met on the street the day of our arrival and walked through every feature and made to feel right at home. They just made it easy. The U.S. phone was a huge plus since ours was something of a working vacation. The kitchen is well laid out and appointed. (Carrefour around the corner!) Perfect for two. Probably just as comfortable for more. Two thumbs up! Thanks!

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks in late May and early June 2008. The furnishings, location and amenities were all as advertised -- very comfortable and satisfactory. The owner's restaurant and entertainment suggestions were very useful, and he also gave us great guidance for trips which we made outside Buenos Aires, using the apartment as a base. We highly recommend the apartment.

We stayed in this lovely and convenient apartment for 2 weeks in March, 2008. The balcony is perfect for watching the hustle and bustle of this very interesting Latin American city. The location is excellent, safe, close to subway, and taxis. Many attractions, shopping and restaurants are within an easy walk. The US phone and other technology was very convenient, shortening the virtual distance to home and business. The apartment is well appointed, with all the conveniences. The storehouse of local information compiled by the owners helped us pick and choose those attractions and restaurants of interest to us. We felt so at home in this warm and inviting environment. We highly recommend it to others.

We spent mid-October to mid-November here and commented every day on our good fortune in finding such a great location and delightful apartment. The location was perfect for exploration of Buenos Aires--on a beautiful residential street lined with huge, shady sycamore trees; 2-3 blocks from everything--Palermo's wonderful parks, the Subte station, huge indoor shopping center,shops of all kinds, great restaurants. Whenever we returned from our explorations and emerged from the Subte station, we felt like we were home. The apartment is newly and very nicely decorated,great kitchen,nice sized living room and dining area, very comfortable bedrooms and beds,a nice balcony where we had leisurely breakfasts and watched neighborhood life. There were just two of us the first two weeks, then we were joined by our son,daughter-in-law and 8 year old granddaughter and it worked wonderfully for us. The owners and resident manager are very accommodating and excellent to work with. We hope to return to BA for more visits and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Loved the apartment! We stayed a month. It is as good as it looks in the photos. The location was ideal for our needs. In wonderful Palermo, near everything you might need and central to anywhere in BA. We were on a working trip, so the wifi and fee Vonage line (free LD to N. America and many places in Europe) was a dream! Can't recommend the apt. highly enough. Would definitely return.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for 10 days in March 2007. The online photos and description are very accurate. We were three adults and had plenty of room to make the space feel like home. The location is excellent for either walking to shops and restaurants or taking a taxi to other parts of B.A. The IP phone is a plus, and the landlord and local manager are both very helpful when called upon. Without a doubt, we would do it all over again. Two thumbs up!

I stayed at this lovely apartment with my family in January 2007. It was perfectly located for sightseeing, shopping and relaxing in outdoor cafes. Taxis were available outside the front door and the subte was a short walk away. The apartment is beautifully furnished! We relaxed on the balcony watching the street life below and enjoyed cocktails in the public rooms before going out to wonderful dinners. It was definite plus to be able to use our computer and to have cable TV. We loved the feeling of having our "own" apartment in vibrant, sophisticated Buenos Aires! We'll be back!

I stayed in this apartment with some family and friends from November 24 through December 2, 2006, and I would recommend it very highly. It is a charming place that is very clean and comfortable. The apartment provides plenty of space and even some privacy is you need quiet time by yourself. For instance, there is a door and small hallway that separates the large bedrooms from the living areas. The third bedroom is also tucked away in a quiet corner. This makes it ideal for families and small groups traveling together. Those who want to sleep after a full day in the city are not disturbed by those in the living room who want to stay up late and enjoy the Buenos Aires nightlife! I also really liked the balcony, where I could sit outside and watch the world go by on the streets below me. The location of the apartment is excellent, with lots of cafes, shops, parks, and restaurants just outside your doorstep. There is also easy access to nearby subways and taxis. Overall, I really loved staying here, and I would not consider any other location on my next trip to Buenos Aires.

We have just returned from a wonderful visit to this condo. We were so relieved when we entered its space to find it squeaky clean, full of ample and roomy space and with a great southern exposure with inviting light. The furnishings were comfortable and cheery (reminded me of a South Beach Miami art deco pad). The kitchen was particularly nice - very clean, modern, full of appliances and with great light. The beds were very comfortable - firm and supportive (this is a critical point for me!) and the linens fresh, clean and contemporary. Of importance to us was also the wireless internet capabilities - it felt like we were back at our own home - not over 5000 miles away. The location of this unit is ideal for getting around town as well as accessing cafes, grocery stores, subways and restuarants. In short, its location was perfect for us. What else can I say? It was perfect - a great respite in a wild city. We felt safe yet still apart of the scene just two flights below to the street. We hope to return as often as we can since it really feels like home away from home.

We hope you will enjoy our Buenos Aires home. After exploring the city for seven months spread over three years, we decided on this beautiful apartment in the sought-after Alto Palermo/Botanico neighborhood. We have recently given new gloss to the classic bones of the place. New paint, appliances, beds, furniture and design touches all make the apartment feel like your home away from home. High speed Internet access with Wi-Fi allow you to use laptop computers anywhere in the apartment. And on many days the apartment and neighboring streets feel like an oasis from the heat and commotion of much of the Argentine capital though they are so very close to many of Buenos Aires' touristic, entertainment, cultural and shopping options.
