This lovely home provided the best place to gather for our family to celebrate the graduation of our daughter from Texas A&M Galveston. The amenities were perfect from the full kitchen with the table settings and kitchen tools and appliances. Loved the back porch and the fountain. Very clean and a welcome home. The stairs were a little steep for the grand parents and the sleeper sofa not for them either. My only regret is that we found this home as we were saying goodbye to Galveston.
Owner response: We are very happy that you and your family were able to enjoy the house and make it your own to celebrate your daughter's graduation. It is a great house for celebration as well as rest and relaxation. Thanks for responding and please feel free to come back any time.

WOW! My husband and two teenagers just got back from Spring Break at the Galveston Victorian House. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this by far was the most elegant, clean, everything you could possibly need home! The pictures really do not do it justice, it is so roomy and you feel like you stepped back in time after you go through front door. I cook a great deal and really enjoyed all the kitchen space. We also loved using the crystal wine glasses and enjoyed several bottles of wine in the back yard garden! The bath towels were plentiful and smelled sooo good! It is a beautiful street and we were so close to dining, theater, historical homes and the seawall! The owner was available by phone when I needed Wify help and has a great book set up in the home for dining out and entertainment. Only suggestion would be to have a second TV in living room, because those red couches are very big and comfortable and the room is so much more to enjoy. Highly recomend this home and will definitely want to book it again!

The house was perfect for our stay in Galveston - conveniently located and within walking distance to restaurants and some shopping. The house is well maintained, large and comfortable. The owners have accurately represented the house on the website. We enjoyed the deck and patio, as well.

Well, it’s a cliché, but “home is where the heart is,” and your home captured our hearts this Christmas. From early morning jogs along the Seawall, to Christmas Eve dinner at Guido’s, we truly enjoyed our stay. Highlights: Benno’s gumbo, the Elissa, the Bishop’s Palace, horse drawn carriage, carollers and Dad’s potato soup with foccaccia from Sunflower Bakery. Thank you!!

You have done an amazing job of making your Victorian house a home for all....it feels so intimate and looks so inviting, lovely, and classic. Your talent is remarkable, for your taste with furnishings, decor, and colors could not be more perfect. We know the energy and dedication it has taken to renovate after Ike. Thank you so much for sharing your romantic home on the coast.

This house was perfect! We had family stay with us for our son's wedding and we all found it comfortable and well equipped. It's so convenient to everything - liked it so much more than the West End. We had a BBQ Party here the night before the wedding and had a great time. We even stayed an extra day!

What a divine weekend. Staying in your beautiful home was the icing on the cake! We so appreciate the care with which you decorated this period home - from the fine china to the crystal stemware - no detail was spared. You spoil us. Thank you! (Cynthia) I would like to add that this little mansion offers the perfect setting to have a quiet weekend in style! Being from Greece I am not easily impressed with something, but this is a small oasis in Texas that I will certainly visit again. (Spyros)

The decor of the house brought back memories of growing up in northern England in the 1950's. Of course, back then we did not appreciate the craftsmanship that went into building Victorian homes and furniture. Loved the house, loved the district, loved the town and its people. The house itself has potential for weaving tremendous stories...tales we can weave to our granddaughter. Thank you for the opportunity to have a wonderful, restful vacation in such stupendous surroundings.

We've stayed at the house twice now, once for Thanksgiving and once for July 4. Both times were wonderful. House is well-appointed, convenient, comfortable, with charming historic details. Owner Elizabeth is gracious, thoughtful hostess. Our children (ages 7, 11, 14) think of it as their personal beach house now, though I'm thrilled it's a lot more than just a beach house. Within walking distance to all sorts of interesting historical sites, convenient to downtown dining on the Strand, and landscaped backyard to enjoy the ocean breezes. Washer/dryer a wonderful asset when you're spending so much time in sand and surf, and the kitchen has everything you need to make and serve all meals. Even Thanksgiving dinner--china, crystal, the works! Thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing your wonderful Galveston gem. We will be back!

This house is the BOMBDIZZLE. The couches are quite floofy, the bed is rather pleasant, the kitchen is yellow and delicious, and oh, the TV/Den is heaven. Many sessions of crap TV were enjoyed by all. The red room has many cabinets and the pink room has many mirrors. We wish the men we know would dress like the statue on the mantle! Thank you very much.
