We have been coming to this house for several years for a girls getaway. The house is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated and the owner has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We love to sit on the porch and watch the dolphins and beautiful sunsets. This year the Super Moon was spectacular over the water ad our visit with the Turtle Patrol very enlightening..

Visited Sea Brook to attend a friend's wedding. This house is on the beach and located perfectly between the reception hall and the Beach and Pool Club. In addition, the interior of the house is beautiful! It has great views from the balcony! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house. On a side note, they have a fun collection of CDs that brought back memories. All in all, a great house owned by great people! Thanks!

I was fortunate enough to have stayed with a friend who is friends with the owner of this wonderful townhome. I strongly recommend this home and it's location as it provides a tranquil and peaceful beachfront existence both inside and out. First, the home: the decor is beautiful with light and sunny walls and wonderful fun and functional furniture. The entire ground floor is perfect for families, couples or group of friends as their is a big living area, 2 dining areas and a robust kitchen fully loaded with all types of cookware, plates, utensils - you will lack for NOTHING! There is a beautiful BOSE sound system with many CDs on site which we used as our background music while sitting on the deck which is on the beach. With great music in background and wine in hand we watched dolphins swim by (frequently) and pelicans dive-bomb into ocean for their meals. The 100s of sandpipers were so fun to watch as they marched in formations to catch food from the rolling surf. Upstairs does not disappoint. The master bedroom has a deck looking out on ocean. I cracked the door open so I could fall asleep to the sound of water sloshing on the beach. There is a full bed- bedroom with it's own bath as well as another twin bed room. Laundry and beautiful master bathroom round out the floor. And, again, the decor is lovely, calming and homey. Other amenities that are great for visitors, they are fully outfitted for babies (clean highchair, car seat, toys, etc.); there is an elevator to take you from the 3-car garage to each of the floors so you don't have to lug your luggage up 3 flights. There is an additional twin bedroom on the main floor which invites you for relaxing or using as bedroom for kids. I strongly recommend this house and am hoping to rent it for my family again in the future. Thanks Ron!
Owner response:awesome review.......I'm so glad you enjoyed our home! Come back again and stay longer..... the only worry is will the tide reach your chair! cheers, Ron

This house is amazing. It is so cozy and comfortable, with every modern convenience you could possibly ask for. Great house- I had a family of 5 and we all had so much room to spread out. The views from the deck are simply breathtaking. We saw so many dolphins swimming by and so close. The sunsets are incredible. Once you see one you will want to make sure you are on the back porch every night for them! We cooked in a lot and the kitchen is great and so much fun for several people to cook in because it is so large and well appointed. And yes, you can see the sunsets and the water from the kitchen! A cook's dream! The development offers everything from work out facilities, pools, tennis, golf, bike trails, running and walking trails to horseback riding. There is something for everyone! Having never visited the Charleston area, I was just amazed at every turn. This house is only a 30 minute drive to the heart of Charleston, which is a fantastic place to stroll, shop and eat. My family had such a wonderful time.....they are still talking about it and are anxious to visit again! Great house! Thank you!

We've been renting homes along the South Carolina coast for 11 years now. This is by far the nicest. You can't beat the location, the only thing closer to the water would be a boat. It was clean (which actually is unusal for rentals) and provided us with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of glassware, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. Everything worked (again in many rentals this is unusual). We particularly enjoyed the elevator on arrival, no more schlepping groceries up the stairs! It is obvoius that Ron takes great pride in his place and wants to make sure his guests are comfortable. We had a lovely week here.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property very much. We have been visiting Seabrook for many years and this location was the best. The property lies right on the ocean with full view of the magnificent sunsets and dolphins. The interior was pretty and clean except for the coverings on the couch which had several stains from usage. Other than that everything was positive and just perfect. I would highly recommend this property.

My husband and I have been going to SBI for 15+ years and this summer staying at Ron and Diane's house made it seem like a wonderful new experience. We took my parents (their first visit to Seabrook) and our two daughters 5 3/4 and 2 1/2 year olds. We all had a blast. The house is comfortable with plenty of room and just the right touch of casual beach elegance with plenty of amenities to suite everyone (movies, music, beach toys, great kitchen for cooking in, etc). The beachfront location was incredible with gorgeous sunsets, dolphin watching and just sitting on the balcony anytime of day listening to the waves. The beach club and pools and golfing is all within walking distance and can't be beat!! We'd walk on the beach in the morning, go to the club for lunch or eat at the house and swim all afternoon and then back out on the beach in the evening after high tide. there is no inconvenience of getting all packed up, in a car, etc... you just walk from the house. Our 5-year old daughter went to the Seabrook Kids club everyday from 9 to noon and LOVED it and our littlest one loved going to see the horses and riding a pony when she wasn't running around on the beach, jumping in the waves or playing in the pool.. Seabrook is the perfect beach location where you can do as much or as little as you like. Charleston is an easy drive for a day trip or an evening date night and Fresh Fields Village has many activities during the week - concerts on the green, farmers market, etc, It was the perfect beach vacation and a home that can't be beat! Thanks Ron and Diane.

We had a fabulous time at this property. After staying other places on Seabrook, we won't stay anywhere else now! There were 4 children ages 6 yo- 18 months, and it was very child friendly. The owners have made this very accomodating, and are a joy to work with.

This is the best beach location on Seabrook. We previously lived in Charleston, but had never visited Seabrook. The island is incredible, without a shortage of things to do. After riding bikes and exploring the island, this house is the closest to the beach. No driving was necessary to get to the club pool. The house is maintained very well and beautifully decorated (fits the beachfront- bright, airy!) We stayed with our 8 and 9 year old and had one of our most memorable vacations. We will definitely be back and staying in this house is a must! Waking up and falling asleep to the surf is priceless- if you don't stay here, you are missing out!

This was a remarkable property and situated in a perfect location. The house is so lovely and well appoointed in every regard, full of charm and friendly luxury. The pool is excellent and perfect distance for families with young children. You have privacy and but very easy access to activities. The bike riding is fun on the Island and again family friendly. The nearest grocery is fabulous. The property was also perfect for my aging mother that was with us on the trip. Ron was an amazing host and attentive to every detail. You will be thrilled with this property, no hesitations.

This home was extremely inviting and comfortable ,from the large soft sectional in the living room that overlooks the ocean, to the luxurious, plush beds. All the bedspreads and sheets were soft cotton, the towels were thick and luxurious. The bedrooms were very spacious and the baths off each bedroom gave such a feeling of privacy. This homeowner maintained the same attention to detail as one might find in a 5 star hotel. The soft but bright colors gave such a feeling of contentment. The elevator directly up to the kitchen and sleeping areas made unloading and loading the car a breeze! We ate all our meals on the porch while watching dolphins swim playfully 6 feet from the shore. The sunsets from this porch was incredible! The sailboat races were not only beautiful but entertaining. The Seabrook Property has beautiful shaded biking trails, many excellent tennis courts, wonderful accomodating, gourmet groceries stores with prepared foods, and many great resturants closeby. Charleston is an easy drive if you want to visit a historic home or find great shopping. The owners were delightful and extremly helpful. I would go back to this tomorrow and would certainly recommend it to anyone as a perfect vacation retreat!
Owner response:I am so happy that you enjoyed our home. Come back again soon! Ron and Diane

This was our fourth time visiting the island and Happy Ours is by far the best house with an unbeatable location! The house is perfect - roomy, comfortable, very nicely decorated, clean and well equipped - and the location makes it even better. When you walk in the front door and see the view of the ocean (that truly is right outside your back door) you feel like you are on a ship. The tall deck chairs were the perfect perch for reading, watching the sunset and just relaxing. The pools and golf course are super close (but not too close) and the new tennis center is a bike ride away. Ron, the owner called to make sure all was well when we arrived and he was easy to reach when we had questions. I cannot say enough good things about Happy Ours - we loved it and would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect spot on Seabrook!

We live locally in Charleston and have rented homes on Kiawah for the past 2 summers. We decided to make a change and rent on Seabrook and we were very pleased with our decision and selection. We had to walk at least 10 football fields to get on the beach at Kiawah and after renting this home we are now spoiled to have the beach access in our backyard. The home for my wife and kids was great. The beach was private and our children ran around without any worries. Overall I would rate this home as a must rent if you are looking for a SC beach vacation.

We 100% would recommend this house (although, a part me feels like I shouldn't because I would HATE for it to be booked for our next trip down , hah). This house was just perfect. The location was great- and it's absolutely true you will see dolphins every day. One small thing- if you have a group of all adults, keep in mind that two of the bedrooms have smaller beds (perhaps twin or maybe full size). I'm convinced this house is one of the nicest on Seabrooke Island. It's always nice to rent from people who are helpful, and Ron and his wife were incredibly accommodating. (They even called to make sure we got in alright and didn't have any questions or concerns). The master bedroom is GREAT. Huge area, nice bathroom and private balcony. We sat on the master balcony or downstairs and watched the sunset every night. The neighbor (who is a full time resident) let my niece walk his dog after noticing her love of dogs (she's only three). Hospitality and southern charm describes this house perfectly.

We've been coming to Seabrook for over 10 years and have stayed in a vareity of properties. This house is the best! It is comfortable, nicely equipped, and has an amazing view from deck. (When the tide is up, it almost feels like you are on a ship at times - a very, very nice ship.) Combined with the easieset beach access around and the helpful owner, it's easily our favorite place to stay on the island.

My family and I spent a week in this beautiful place from 5/22-5/29 and it was fabulous from beginning to end. I can't say what we enjoyed most; maybe the porch, the bike rides, the sunsets, the entertaining dolphins and birds, the fabulous meals we enjoyed or just the beautiful house in general. Ron and Diane, thank you so much for sharing this little piece of heaven. It will be a vacation long remembered.

This location is all that it says it is. It is on a beautiful location on the southern end of Seabrook Island. The beach house is immaculate, the layout is great for guest interaction or for quietly reading a book in seclusion. The pristine beach is great for both walking and lounging. We loved the dolphins and pelicans.Since it is a guarded property, the is very private and the guests who are there are polite and friendly. We especially liked the amenities of the club house, pool and bar areas. The local shopping center was great and within reasonable distance and some of the restaurants in the area are first rate. There is little to no traffic, perfect for kids and bicycles. Both Charleston and Savannah are an easy drive. We would love to go back next year.

As former property owners on Seabrook Island, my husband and I knew the location of this beach house was superior to any other on the island and leapt at the chance to rent it! My parents in law joined us as my mom in law had just completed a round of radiation treatments and we wanted to provide them with a memorable and relaxing vacation. The house, equipped with an elevator, was perfect. We spent a vast majority of our time on the porch overlooking the beach as well as on the beach playing with our two toddlers. The location was by far the most convenient for toddlers. Each day the dolphins/seagulls/pelicans put on a show and at night the stars followed suit. The sunsets were gorgeous. My mom in law had an appointment with her oncologist the day after she returned and had an outstanding visit where the doctor said her labs were the best they had looked and she appeared well rested! We attribute this to much prayer and a wonderful beach house. Thanks so much for this special opportunity - we eagerly await a return visit! (My husband still has his eye on your mountain cabin as well) :-)

This home is absolutely beautiful! The view when you walk into the main floor is breathtaking! (As is the view from the master bedroom).Go out onto the deck or open the windows and the ocean sounds are magnificent. The private boardwalk is literally steps from the beach! The drive in garage easily fits 2 cars. The elevator connects all three floors and makes carrying groceries and luggage an easy task. Perfect for us because we were traveling with our 77 year old mom. Steps can be a problem. The kitchen is modern, well equipped with anything you need to cook a great meal for your family. My favorite thing was: while cooking in the kitchen you have a beautiful ocean view. The Bose sound system is wonderful and the eclectic music collection was a lot of fun for all of us. We enjoyed the Wireless Internet access, plasma TVs. water pressure in the showers and very comfortable beds. But most of all we loved the wildlife! We could sit on the deck or walk to the ocean and watch the dolphin feed and play all day long! REALLY! It was amazing. What a great experience. Sometimes they came within 10 feet of where we were standing in the surf! The pelicans and other shore birds were right in front of us and provided a show all during the day. The sunsets were spectacular and after the sunset, we watched Venus and Mercury appear followed by a star filled night! Great neighbors, friendly people all around. We enjoyed the close proximity to Charleston which is a great city to explore and also the Freshfield village! Good food and great shopping! This home provided us with the perfect beachfront experience we were looking for and the owners are very friendly and easy to talk with. If you are looking for the perfect beach home ....This is it!!! I was traveling with my sister and my mom...we gave this vacation a 10...mostly because of the location and special features of this home. Many thanks to Ron and Diane!
Owner response:Thanks for the great review.......come back for a long weekend. The sunsets are very dramatic in the Fall! cheers, Ron

Forget the pictures you see here. What you get is far superior. From the moment we entered through the front door, my kids and I were blown away by the panoramic ocean views. Water, waves, sand and sky from every window. Forget rentals that are a "short stroll" to the beach, Ron's place is on the beach and you can feel it and hear it and see it, even if you never step outside. That's what I wanted. You can feel close to the ocean from the kitchen sink, to the master deck to the dining table. Pack a bikini, flip flops and a toothbrush. Everything else is here. Even the shampoo and soap is high end and smells delicious. The pool is next door but far enough to not ruin the quiet and sound of the ocean. Renting bikes involved a phone and my index finger and we enjoyed riding them to the market for Starbucks every morning. Passing the horse stables by bike was especially enjoyable for my littlest daughter. The neighbors are full time residents and were as scarce or available as I wished them to be. I thought their friendly smiles and passing salutations were scripted by Ron! What great folks. The elevator made toting anything from ground level a non issue. The house is pristine in terms of cleanliness and finished with quality materials. It is well built and beautifully laid out. I'm spoiled and I was tickled with how well equipped the home was. Even the decor is Pottery Barn trendy with a beachy capriciousness to it. There is every type of CD for any genre of music you might enjoy and an arsenal of Videos for the pickiest viewer. When the sun set the first night we were there, I knew this was going to be one memorable getaway. You know the place that feels so good and inspires you to write your first novel, compose a song or fall in love? This is that place. You can reconnect here. Its just wonderful.
Owner response:Heidi- what a wonderful note. I hope you come back and write your novel....you are are one terrific author! cheers! Ron

We just spent two incredible weeks at the Lanio's beautiful beach home!! During this time, we were visited by various family members- 9 adults and 3 baby grandchildren! We cooked almost every night in the great kitchen. We saw countless dolphins, sunsets, and even a loggerhead sea turtle! When the kids tired of the beach, they walked next door to the new pool complex! The golf course was just across the street. My daughters commented that they felt they were living in a Nicholas Sparks novel! This was a vacation of a lifetime. Location, location, location!

We spent a long weekend with three other couples at your very comfortable beach home. Everyone was extremely happy with the accomadations. Upon arrival we all had discussed taking a sunset cruise or a dolphin watching tour. After viewing the sunset from your deck we knew a cruise would only be disappointing. The next morning while having coffee on the deck we were treated to endless incredible dolphin watching. Again a tour would only be disappointing. We cooked in your well equipped kitchen and enjoyed walks and sitting on the beach only a few steps from the house. I hope we can visit again and stay longer. Thanks Mike & Libby McKinney

Our daughter was married at Seabrook Island Club on Oct. 6. We stayed at Ron's home for the wedding and it was an excellant choice. The house is beautifully decorated, the kitchen has everything you need, and every bedroom is comfortable and has its own private bath. All of the bridesmaids came to the house to have their hair and makeup done and we felt as though we were at a spa. The master bedroom is large and the bride and bridesmaids had plenty of room to get ready. The house is located very close to the beach club which made it easy to get the bride to the wedding unnoticed by the guests who were arriving. Ron's house is perfect for hosting a family affair, the view of the beach and the propoises feeding is wonderful. We all enjoyed staying at the Lanio's home and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable vacation.

My sisters (three plus me) two husbands had a great reunion at THE BEACH HOUSE. It was fabulous. We looked forward to the porpoises in the morning and evening, just about 10 yards off shore. Deer came almost up to the house. The house is beautiful. Thanks for a wonders vacation/reunion.

We just returned from a week at Ron's house and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach front home yet close to the pool and golf amenities. Seabrook is such a unique location - close to Charleston yet still a quiet family beach. Their home is on a rare stretch of beach on the island where the beach is only a few yards away from the house -- most homes require a much longer walk to get to the beach. It was so nice to be able to sit on the porch or even inside and still be able to see our children building sand castles on the beach. Everything was five star - you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful home and perfect location. Easily the best rental experience with regard to quality that we've had thus far. Gorgeous sunsets and great for star gazing. Hundreds of Dolphin sightings and the deer walk right up to the house! We hope to return again soon!

Our entire family (6 adults & 2 children) spent the week of June 16th in the Lanio's beachfront home. We absolutely loved the location and spectacular ocean views. It was very convenient being so close to the pool complex and golf courses. The elevator was very helpful when unpacking/packing our luggage, etc. We recommend this home to any family who is looking for a great vacation spot.

A truly wonderful beach house! Very comfortable and incredibly close to the ocean. Our 6 and 2-year old sons couldn't believe how close the dolphins came to the shore. Great proximity to the beach club (with beautiful pool) and a daily beach camp for our 6-year old. We highly recommend!!

Comment Text: We were lucky enough to spend a family Christmas at this gorgeous home right on the beach. It has everything you could want in a vacation home and more. It is brand new and the decor is beautiful with lots of personal touches. The sunsets on the deck were breath-taking. We never missed one! And during the day we watched the dolphins play in the ocean from your deck. We definetly hope to visit your wonderful home again. Thanks for sharing it with us.
