Live like a Seattlite! This in-city, mother-in-law apartment is in the heart of Seattle in one of the nicest neighborhoods! Beautiful Magnolia is ten miles of rolling hills, surrounded by water on three sides, offering the most breathtaking views in the city! Magnolia is just four miles to downtown Seattle by bus or car! Starbucks is on every corner, of course, and fabulous restaurants, theatres, shopping, and outdoor activities are plentiful!
The apartment sits on the bus line with a direct shot downtown and just a mile or two to other fabulous neighborhoods: Fremont, Ballard, Queen Anne, Belltown. And just four miles from the heart of downtown Seattle.
THE APARTMENT is the first floor of our home. The apartment is 900 square feet. The home was built in 1990 and remodeled since then, so it is very new and spacious. It features one bedroom, a formal entry way, one newly remodeled bathroom with gorgeous slate tile, private laundry (full size front load), full kitchen, living room. It has all brand new stainless appliances in the full size, open kitchen! The covered front porch sits high above the street and is a lovely place to sit and look out at the view of Queen Anne (the next hill over) and Mount Rainier! Beautiful landscaping and a private patio were installed in 2008.

Year Purchased: 2003
We are a couple in our 30's with a 2 year old child. We enjoy bbq'ing, socializing with neighbors, snow skiing, dining out, traveling, kid friendly and family friendly events. We live upstairs in the mail part of the house. Matthew is a private chef and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Lesley is a Home Mortgage Consultant. We enjoy meeting visitors from different parts of the world!
Why the Owner Chose Magnolia
We bought this property because we wanted to live near downtown, but still have a neighborhood feel. We love being 5 minutes to downtown Seattle! We often go to Ballard, Fremont, Discovery Park, Ella Bailey Park, Queen Anne, and Magnolia Village, all within a mile or 2 of our home!
