Come enjoy your family reunion in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. This spacious, newly renovated, 2636 square foot, four bedroom, two and a half bath home has all new luxury furnishings. Experience the warm, friendly Texans, famous Texas history, unique cuisines, music and wildlife in this great centrally located area of Texas Hill Country. Canyon Lake is a 6 x 1.5 mile clear lake with a limestone bottom, marinas with sailboat and power boat rentals and lots of great fishing.
The spacious downstairs master bedroom has a king size bed and cable TV. Attached is the large master bath with a garden tub/shower, double sink vanity and two walk-in closets. The upstairs three bedrooms have queen beds and a large full bath with tub/shower and double sink vanity. There is a door off the hall to the large covered deck where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the lake.
This home has two separate air conditioning systems for controlled comfort on each floor. All the fully carpeted bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and family room have ceiling fans including the large upstairs and downstairs decks. The big country kitchen has all new appliances including dishwasher, Jenn-Aire stove top, double oven, microwave and refrigerator/freezer with filtered water and ice in the door. There is a cozy breakfast nook for early morning coffee and an additional TV for the cook.
Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with a new, large capacity washer/dryer and a second new refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. This home has a water softening system. The formal dining room has a long family table that seats eight guests Through the picture window everyone enjoys a beautiful view of the lake across the spacious side yard. The family room is an extra seating area with cable TV, music system and four TV tables.
The large living room has a floor to vaulted ceiling fireplace (cord wood in the fenced yard) surrounded by two Italian leather sofas. There is a door from this room to the covered downstairs deck. There is a large wood deck surrounding a giant oak tree off the kitchen for convenient barbecue in the spacious deer fenced side yard.
This lovely home is located in a wilderness friendly neighborhood, 1/4 mile from the lake and boat ramp on the south shore of Canyon Lake. NOTE: Our house is NOT positioned correctly using Google Maps, Live Local or other Internet mapping services. There is local grocery shopping, fast food restaurants and the famous Texas burgers at the Startz Café.
You are 25 minutes from San Antonio airport, 45 minutes from Austin, 'Music City USA'. New Braunfels, known for river tubing and the famous Schlitterbahn water theme park and Gruene for antiquing and nightlife are 20 minutes away. San Marcos with a huge outlet mall is 30 minutes away, towards Austin.
