CASA MAR at STRANDS BEACH
LOCATION****As you pull off of Pacific Coast Highway on to our palm lined street, you have the ocean to the right and our condominium complex, Niguel Beach Terrace, on the left. At this point you are "steps" away from the Strands Beach at Salt Creek Beach Park.
This area of Dana Point with it prominent coastal bluffs, is also known as The Headlands and is part of what is referred to as the "Gold Coast" or "California Riviera". With Laguna Beach to the north and San Clemente to the south, this is the ideal location for your Southern CA visit. You are central to all of Southern California! 60 miles from Los Angeles International Airport and 60 miles from Sea World in San Diego.

Resort, 25 miles to John Wayne Airport, 5 miles to Laguna Beach,
5 miles to Mission San Juan Capistrano, 80 miles to the
Tijuana Mexico!
Day trip to Joshua Tree National Park (2.5 Hrs), Palm Springs (2.3 Hrs) or Snow Ski (2.5 Hrs). Las Vegas is only 5.5 Hrs away.
BEACH****The Strands Beach is actually the Southern portion of the Salt Creek Beach Park. It is a popular surfing beach that consistently rates an A+ in water quality. It is common to see dolphins and sea lions while visiting the beach. This is the same beach that guests from the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel and The St. Regis at Monarch Beach use.
CASA MAR (Ocean House)****We spent most of 2006 performing an extensive remodel of this ground level unit. EVERYTHING IS NEW!!! New to the vacation rental market for 2007, this unit has the look and feel of a high end hotel, yet delivers a comfortable home-like feel.
LIVING ROOM****Porcelain tile flooring throughout for a clean sanitary environment. Lighting is recessed and dimmable. The sofa converts to a queen size sleeper. We've added a comfortable arm chair and some ottomans for additional seating. We have a 37" LCD TV with DVD, an AM/FM/DVD player, Wireless Broadband connection, board games, playing cards, assorted children's and general DVD titles. We just added a Wii gaming system.
KITCHEN****Open to the living area and patio, you're always in the conversation. New cabinets, granite, stainless appliances. Fully equipped w/coffee maker, toaster, microwave. Dining area seats six, has dimmable lights and ceiling fan.
BEDROOMS****Master bedroom has a king size bed, Guest has Queen size. Recessed, dimmable lighting with ceiling fans. Porcelain tile floors with large area rugs. Both open to private patios. Master bedroom has DVD/TV. Lots of storage space for your clothing. AM/FM clock radios provided. Iron & board in closet.
BATHROOMS****Master bath has a shower with frameless enclosure, Guest bath has tub w/ shower. Both have extensive tile work, granite, satin nickle finishes and recessed dimmable lighting. Lighted makeup mirror, blowe dryer are provided. Plenty of soft towels also.
PATIOS: There are two. One off the Guest bedroom and Living Room, the other off the Kitchen/Dining area and the Master Bedroom. Both have seating and tables. We also provide a gas barbeque.
AMENITIES: Beach towels, beach chairs, Boogey boards, beach umbrella, a soft sided cooler w/wheels are included. A washer and dryer are also provided.
We are confident that you will find this to be one of the finest Vacation Rentals available!!! The photos don't do it justice.

Late Spring: May 17, 2010 thru June 13, 2010- $1,500 wk
Summer: June 14, 2010 thru Aug 29, 2010- $2,100 wk : Independence Day Week $2,300
Labor Day Holiday: Aug 30, 2010 thru Sept 5, 2010 - $1,500 wk.
Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years - $1,800 per wk. None Smoking Property.
$500 deposit due at the time reservation is made. Rental fee is due 45 days prior

Andy,when you arrived last May the construction on the path was almost complete as well as the pool. I'm happy to say that the closest path to the beach is complete along with a nice shower area and restrooms. Our pool/jacuzzi refurbishment was completed last June. Next time you visit, you'll see the incredible upgrades that have been made to our community.
