A great little cabin overlooking the Grand Wash Cliffs in Lake Mead Recreational Area. In addition to this friendly little cabin, there's an outdoor hot-tub to view the stars at night and 3 covered carports with cement floors for your boat, RV, and vehicle/s.

Meadview is located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and is only about 12 miles from the concrete boat ramp at South Cove and the boat launch area at Pierce Ferry. (Pierce Ferry is temporarily closed.) The town faces the Grand Wash Cliff which are just west of the western edge of the Grand Canyon. The cabin is about 26 miles from the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. The area is great for fishing, boating, 4 wheeling, camping out under the stars, hiking, and just plain getting away from it all.

The town of Meadview has at least two restaurants: the Crow's Nest and the Meadview Cafe. There's a small store, a post office, as well as a hardware store and much more actually if you start looking around. Meadview is a quiet retirement community surrounded by federal land (BLM and NPS). It is the closest access to Lake Mead, the largest man made lake in the United States. It is one of the closest to the new, much talked about Grand Canyon West skywalk which is a glass bridge that when completed will be suspended more than 4,000 feet above the Colorado River on the very edge of the Grand Canyon!

Meadview is about 60 miles to downtown Kingman. Laughlin, Nevada is not far either. If arriving from a flight into Vegas, head south on highway 93 across Hoover Dam and turn north at mile post 42 (Dolan Springs) on to Pierce Ferry Road and drive 40 miles to Meadview.

Average Meadview temperatures are from the 70s to the 80s although winter nights can drop down into the freezing area and summer day time temperatures can reach into the 100s. The majority of the days are comfortably warm with clear blue skies and puffy white clouds.
