The Hak Shack, with it's private swimming pool and private lot is a dream home. Ft. Morgan is the best kept secret in the world. No maddening crowds, commercialism..........just miles and miles of beautiful, white sand beaches and great sunsets.

Brenda and I met 30 or so years ago when I was a young sailor in the US Navy, stationed in Seattle Wa. After many wonderful adventures together, we now have 3 grown children and 5 beautiful grandchildren. Since we first met, it has been our dream to have a place at the beach where we could get away from it all with our friends and family. For us, The Hak Shack is a dream come true.

First of all let me thank Doug and Brenda for letting us share their beautiful home. We had a family reunion in September with my wifes brother and sister and their families. We didn't expect Tropical Storm Lee to join us. They had great board games for the adults and the kids. We had a washer tournament and a corn hole game going under the house the whole weekend. We spent a few hours on the beach, but the kids enjoyed the pool between the rain storms. The master suite was absolutly wonderful. That was our first experience at Ft Morgan but it won't be our last. It was great to have a peaceful place to spend time with our family without the "woo hoo" croud. Thanks again and we will be back to the Hak Shack

What a wonderful time! The house was great, the second floor master suite was an amazing escape for my husband and me. Fort Morgan was so peaceful and quiet, it was great to just get away. There were very few people on the beach, and I think the kids had even more fun in the pool than they did at the beach. Doug and Brenda really took care of us, we can't wait to get back next year.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
