Rose Cottage... A unique, cozy, three bedroom, two and a half bath home located one block from the beach on a street that has direct gulf access (no streets to cross) and walking distance to Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Actually, the location is perfect; right across the street is Skipper’s which features the best steamed shrimp and locally caught fresh fish daily, Winn-Dixie a full service grocery, Cash’s for the evening cocktail supplies, a TCBY for the ice cream snack, a cleaners, shoe repair, etc. On the beach, you can experience Parasailing, rent a catamaran or just do nothing…

Then, for evening entertainment, you are only one mile from Sandestin and The Village of Baytowne Wharf which comes alive with family activities and nightlife. The Events Plaza is a-buzz with live music and a series of events, concerts and entertainment year around as well as many nightclubs. The area also includes many fabulous indoor and open air restaurants.

As a designer, my home features custom moldings; hand carved Italian lighting, and a unique star chandelier in the stairway. All the cabinetry is glazed maple with granite countertops.

In addition, you can enjoy a private courtyard area with a jasmine covered pergola. Dine under the pergola or just relax. As an avid gardener, my home also features many varieties of tropical plants. Jasmine covers the front columns and pergola and red roses cover the white picket fence and bloom for many weeks during the summer.

  • BEAUTIFUL! The home was decorated very nicely, more than we expected! Pat was great to deal with and the house was stocked! We went with 3 couples and the house was perfect, walking distance to the beach, gas grill, nice patio, walking distance to the outlet mall etc. etc. etc. We cant wait to go back!

Like I wrote in your guest book it felt like home away from home! The beach was beautiful and the kids had a great time, except for the jelly fish stings that is.   • We were pleasantly suprised by the location ( much closer than 200 yards to beach..what do you expect their from Michigan), dead end street, quiet, decorated very nicely, flat screens in every room and all the privacy a family needs (wagon with toys and boogie boards a nice touch). Rose Cottage has all the amenities and then some for a great time on the panhandle. Can't wait until next year.

  • The stay here was outstanding!! Pat was very helpful and her home is very relaxing and it is in a very peaceful atmosphere. It is very spacious and has all of the amenities of the modern day house. It is close to shopping, restaurants and bike riding. We hope to be back next year!

  • We had an incredible time at Rose Cottage, we celebrated my sister's "50th" and it was perfect! The bed's are comfy, the bathroom's were sufficient for us all, and the living space was ample for entertaining or just lounging around. We all loved sitting outside! There is EVERYTHING that you need within walking distance, perfect for teenagers. And not to mention the beach is just minutes away. I would highly recommend it to anyone, and my family is looking forward to staying again. Thanks Pat!

  • The accomodations were wonderful! Pat pays meticulous attention to detail to ensure that guests have everything they will need. The cottage has a very homey feel yet is spacious. It is convenient to wide, white sandy beaches and the area feels very safe. Everything that is needed is within walking distance. There is no reason to leave this beach home - except for a walk to the beach.

  • We vacationed with another family at the Rose Cottage during Spring Break and found it to be very delightful. The six of us had plenty of room and we enjoyed the outdoor garden and cooking at home a few nights during that week. The beach is right down the street and the kids made sand furniture and flew kites when they weren't jumping the waves with boogie boards. Skippers across the street has the best key lime pie and the shrimp and tuna dip are awesome. A relaxing home away from home!
