One of the best vacations I ever had. The home is beautiful with very nice decor, warm, welcoming, luxurious, and comfortable. Every need was met. My favorite room is the master. It has a very comfy king size bed & large master bathroom. My second favorite is the kitchen, very convenient. Loved the granite countertops & stainless steel appliances - super nice. We enjoyed the wonderful smell of the Jasmine growing on the arbor and other lush plantings in the fenced in yard which felt very private. The walk to beach was a mere 200 yards. A hop, skip, and a jump really. We had an absolutely great time. I cannot think of a better place to be on Mother's Day. We will visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the Rose Cottage. I liked the fact that the beach was within close walking distance and this time of year, the beach was not crowded. We could walk to the grocery/Dollar General Store for necessities. The outlet mall was even within walking distance. I loved Destin, in fact we all did in my family, and would love to have been able to stay longer. The home was clean, nicely decorated and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. We ate at alot of the local restaurants enjoying fish and seafood daily. We enjoyed parasailing, snorkeling and kayaking as some of the activities available to do there. We definitely want to plan another trip in the future and hopefully be able to stay at the Rose Cottage once again. It was a great location...close to everything! We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying at Pat's cottage.

This is one of the most beautifully furnished and decorated beach homes we have ever seen. The location on a quiet street is ideal for walking to the beach, grocery, surf shop and ice cream. The patio is very private and a great spot for relaxing or keeping the little ones contained. The are more beach toys provided than you could ever need and the wagon is perfect for hauling everything back and forth. This is a wonderful home and is highly recommended! Also Pat (the owner) is very nice!

The Rose Cottage is everything you need for a wonderful place to stay at Destin: close to beach, close to shopping, close to restaurants, close to grocery store, close to golf courses. It is beautifully decorated, has plenty of room, & the beds are comfortable, cable tv's throughout the house, just perfect. We will definitely come back to stay at the Rose Cottage!!

Our family of 6 adults and 1 two year old loved staying at this house. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. It is great being able to walk to the beach. There is plenty of shopping very near by. We even walked to Dollar General and Winn Dixie a few times. The kitchen has everything a chef needs to cook with. The bathrooms and bedrooms are very nice, and well stocked with linens. The open floor plan of the main floor makes it great for visiting. We enjoyed using the patio and the upstairs deck. There is plenty of beach toys and chairs to use. I highly recommend renting this house. Great job, Pat!

Rose Cottage is the sweet spot of location, only yards from the beach and yards from the outlet mall. The home is elegant and well-stocked. We had the best time and all of our friends who had rented other houses were jealous of our home away from home. Cheeseburger in Paradise in the mall parking lot has great margueritas and The Hog's Breath down the road has very good barbeque. We definitely will come back and stay at this home.

We rented Rose Cottage for our family vacation (May 2011) this year and could not have been more pleased! This was a first for us so we were a little anxious about making the right choice but there was no need! Pat, the owner was amazingly kind and everything in the home is exactly as described. It is a beautiful home for adults but is also kid-friendly (we have 3!). The beach is a short walk down the road and there are no streets to cross. The home was very clean, well kept, and there were beach toys for the children as well as a high chair seat and pack-n-play for little ones to sleep in. We had a marvelous time and our kiddos are already talking about next year! Thanks for making our vacation one of the best ever!

Thanks for a great stay at your property.Upon arriving the cottage was very clean , well stocked and the kitchen was fully functionable with everything we needed to eat most of our meals in.We grilled often and the private yard and deck was quiet and relaxing to have our morning coffee. The beach was only 150 yards from the cottage in a quiet neighborhood-no partying or loud groups. All of the conveniences were within a few miles-Walmart,Bass Pro Shop,Outlet mall, restaurants and any thing else a person would want.We would highly recommend staying here as it was a great value-especially split between a couple of families. The owner takes pride in her home and it shows.Hope to stay again in the future.

Rose Cottage was the ideal setting for a New Year's weekend. There was plenty of room for three couples and the location was perfect. The beach is just down the street and there was no busy road to cross to get to the beach. Pat provided excellent customer service. The house was spotless and the backyard was beautiful. I would definitely recommend Rose Cottage as a beach destination.

This was perfect for those who want a peaceful vacation, yet close to shopping, restaurants, and of course no streets to cross to the beach!! It was wonderful and relaxing and we did not want to leave, but we had to. It makes going back home difficult!! Pat is very attentive to all of our requests as if she were right there. I would recommend this home to anyone. Thanks again Pat!

Oh My Word!!! To say this was a great find would be an understatement! We LOVED our stay at the Rose Cottage at Miramar so much! We came for a week on the beach (which was amazing), but the home was so beautiful, we hated to leave it!!! The back yard is opulent with top-notch landscaping and privacy. You cannot believe how pretty this place is! The convenience to all shopping and groceries,(STARBUCKS) was just awesome!!!! It was a "girl trip" with Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Sister, and Niece, and we were all very happy campers!!! The owner, Pat, is fantastic to do business with. Please don't tell anyone else!!! We want to keep this place to ourselves:)

This is by far the nicest and CLEANEST beach house we have ever rented. The elegant interior upgrades (solid surface countertops, tile, crown molding, etc.) are luxurious and made our stay that much more relaxing. One of our favorite features is the code entry - no key to bother with, which is very convenient when going down to the beach. The location is just perfect - a short walk to the beach yet close to fabulous shopping, dining, and family-friendly entertainment. We really enjoyed interacting with the owner and appreciated her attention to detail. We have already recommend the home to our friends and hope to vacation there again soon!

What a beautiful home! Our family, which includes three small children, felt so relaxed and comfortable here. We couldn't believe how upscale this rental house truly is. And, it really IS just a short walk to the beach. We especially appreciated the beach toys and games/puzzles already at the house, which made our packing much easier. Plus, there were more restaurants and shops within a two minute drive than we could count. A perfect location!

Our family of six loved this house and the decor and privacy. But we still were close enough to walk to the grocery store, outlet mall, Dollar General and of course, the beach. The beach toys were just an extra detail that made the beach more enjoyable, even for our 19, 17, and 13 year old twins. Thanks for your sharing your home!

My family had a wonderful time renting this home! It is furnished very nicely and the kitchen has EVERYTHING you could image needing. How many rentals have nice china and REAL wine glasses? The location was so convenient! When they said it was close to the beach they weren't kidding. My kids lived on the beach and with a family of five people, not everyone wanted to come and go at the same time. Because the house was so close and the area very safe, we felt comfortable letting our kids walk back and forth from the house to the beach. Additionally, less than a 1/2 block in the other direction was the grocery store (Winn Dixie) and TCBY and Dollar General. So walking to the store and not having to drive was a plus. Shopping and restaurants were in abundance. Finally, this property was located near SanDestin and the area tended to be more upscale and less congested than properties closed inside of Destin. The home is managed by the personal owner and you can tell the difference from other properties that are managed corporately. Dealing with the owner was comforting. We've already told our friends about this home and how key it was to making our vacation enjoyable. We had zero complaints.....except for having to leave and come home!

The Rose Cottage was a perfect place for our family vacation. It is in an excellent location. The beach is beautiful and was never too crowded. We had 2 toddlers with us and were able to pull them down to the beach in the wagon - enjoyed the many beach toys that were there. the Patio was lovely and a great place to hang out in the shade. The home is clean, comfortable, and close to everything. We highly recommend!

There was enough room for all of us and close enough to the beach...we had 4 children and didn't have to cross the road. There was a grocery, alvins island, seafood market, dollar store all within walking distance...and the outlet mall was across the road!!! Very beautiful house in the perfect location!!!!!

We were pleasantly suprised by the location ( much closer than 200 yards to beach..what do you expect their from Michigan), dead end street, quiet, decorated very nicely, flat screens in every room and all the privacy a family needs (wagon with toys and boogie boards a nice touch). Rose Cottage has all the amenities and then some for a great time on the panhandle. Can't wait until next year.

Pat, your place is beautifully decorated and comes with all of the amenities you need! We had a most pleasurable stay over spring break at the Rose Cottage. The cottage was clean and very comfortable for our family of five, plus two extra teens. And, it was a definite plus to have large screen TV’s in every room! The location was just perfect as well, we were able to relax and felt safe allowing the kids to walk the very close distance to the beach or across the road to Winn Dixie or TCBY for ice cream. Counted 310 steps from the door to the beach! Just an amazing location and we absolutely loved it, would recommend it to anyone looking for a great relaxing vacation in a home near the beach.

We vacationed with another family at the Rose Cottage during Spring Break and found it to be very delightful. The six of us had plenty of room and we enjoyed the outdoor garden and cooking at home a few nights during that week. The beach is right down the street and the kids made sand furniture and flew kites when they weren't jumping the waves with boogie boards. Skippers across the street has the best key lime pie and the shrimp and tuna dip are awesome. A relaxing home away from home!

Welcome. Last fall I switched my Miramar Beach home from a managed property to VRBO. I have enjoyed talking to my renters and value the relationships that have been established vs. not knowing my renters. To view comments from guests who have stayed at my lake home in Northern Michigan, please go to the vrbo website for Michigan and log in 84644 or simply click on View All Properties and go to guest book. This shows the care and detail that I put into making my guests stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks Pat
