  Lourdes, Your condo exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay and love Sapphire. We took a BVI trip with Captain Roy to the bubbly pool and soggy dollar bar, had a blast. We also took a ferry over to Water Island and tried paddle boarding. We will definitely be renting paddle boards next time we are on island. It was so much fun. Food - Tickles Dockside Pub for lunch, Fish Tails for breakfast, Old Stone Farmhouse for a nice dinner out, Greenhouse, and Gladys Cafe for her hot sauce. We hope to be back soon and would love to stay here again.

  Our stay was wonderful the place was very comfortable that we felt at home. Easy access to every where we wanted to go. The pictures was accurate to the appearance and amenities. Also was clean and updated furniture. The owner was very helpful in answering question before arrival and while at stay. I will recommend a friend and family along with returning and staying again.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My family and I stayed in this lovely condo for 5 beautiful days. It is everything that is described in the advertisment and more. We prepared our meals daily which enabled us to save a few bucks. Lourdes was very helpful and we thank her for allowing us to share her condo. The cleaner was very, very good and friendly. Overall, the condo is clean, spacious with all the anenities of home.

  We stayed in Lourdes' one bedroom unit and it worked perfectly for us. In fact, we liked it so well that although we had planned to stay at one of the fancier resorts on our return trip, we changed our plans and returned to the same unit near Sapphire Beach. What brought us back? The location, for starters. With the beautiful, sandy Sapphire Beach, featuring some very good snorkeling, just a short stroll away, it is hard to beat. The Red Hook ferry is just down the hill, as are a wide selection of nice restaurants. Having a Budget Rent A Car office a short walk away also proved to be very handy. Virgin Islands Eco-Tours -- one of the highlights of our trip -- is also in close proximity. The unit itself was clean and comfortable and provided all of the amenities we needed. The unit's Wi-Fi allowed us to take care of business without having to search for a connection. While we didn't spend a lot of time watching TV in the unit, it was nice to be able to check out the latest sports scores on ESPN. With the reasonable rates, you would be hard pressed to find a better bargain anywhere on St Thomas.

  Our plans this Summer called for us Island hopping, to St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, and St. Croix. This location served as a great first stop. From there we were able to do catch the ferry at Red Hook, and travel to as many Islands as we wanted. The Condo was extremely clean, well kept and updated. Our first night (Aug13) was spent in a regular room at Sapphire Village. Lourdes condo was allot cleaner, more updates, and comfortable. My two children (19, 21) were with me, and they were thoroughly impressed with the place. I would highly recommend this Condo to anyone looking for a nice place to spend a week or so on St. Thomas. Get a rental car though this is a must. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer, and will keep Lourdes' contact information in my planner.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  I have always stayed at a hotel when traveling and never rented from and individual before. To say the least I was nervous about what I would find when I arrived in St. Thomas. To my surprise it was beautiful! This unit is better than the pictures! I was impressed with all the extras that the unit had to offer like new matching kitchen items, beautiful plates, matching towels, and it was super clean. I would recommend this unit to the pickiest traveler out there!

  We thoroughly enjoyed this one bedroom condo. Everything is well represented by the photos. The beach is just a short walk and you are close to Red Hook and the ferry to St John. Lourdes was absolutely fantastic and easy to work with. Will stay in one of her units on our next visit.

  I had the privlidge of spending almost a whole week in a pair of wonderfully appoitned condos. Lourdes was even very accomodating in helping me transfer between units after a minor booking mix-up. Everything about the property was excellent and the breeze off the water made it the perfect lazy vacation. Thanks again!

  The owner of this condo has three properties at Sapphire Village. My husband and I stayed in the studio (NOT THE 1 BEDROOM IIN THIS LISTING). This review refers to the STUDIO. The unit was spotlessly clean and has been nicely remodeled - a real find in St. Thomas, where many if not most rental properties have tired, worn, dated furniture and fixtures from the 1970s. The only flaw in this particular unit was stained fabric on the sleeper sofa. Because the studio is up a short, steep hill from the beach, the views are spectacular, with water in three of four directions. One of the pools is just across the parking lot. The owner was wonderfully helpful and accommodating given our circumstances - we had just arrived on the island for a 15-month stay, we had lots of luggage, my husband was in his first week at a new job, and our long-term rental wash't ready when we needed it. Besides offering lots of helpful advice for living in the VI, she allowed us to check in early and check out late. I talked to another Sapphire Village guest at the pool who had rented a similar unit through another booking site rather than dealing directly with the owner through HomeAway. Her unit had not been updated, was so filthy she had to buy cleaning products and clean it herself - and she was paying a good bit more per night. Bottom line - the studio is a very good value, one of the nicer units in Sapphire Village, updated and very clean, with an owner you can trust. Sapphire Village is just above Sapphire Beach - one of the top-rated beach/snorkeling destinations in St. Thomas.

  The condo was clean and well appointed. Having a functional kitchen was a huge plus and really made us feel at home. The room smelled very nice and made for a perfect honeymoon given its close proximity to the beach and just a short drive from Red Hook. We didn't even rent a car the first 3 days and did just fine on the Safari bus, taxi's, and on foot. It is a hilly walk down to the beach but its pretty easy. I'd probably recommend a car still though, not because the condo is far from anything, more for getting around this island and venturing to others. The only improvement I can think of is maybe a little more comfy couch but I understand because it doubles as a pullout bed. I probably only noticed because I got food poisoning and spent 48 hrs on it. Overall, had a blast and would love to rent it again.
