The house is fully furnished and has three bedrooms:
- Bedroom One has a big double bed with two separate mattresses (200 x 100 cm), mirror, bedside table and wardrobe .
- Bedroom Two has a big single bed (200 x 100 cm) and a couch, which can be transformed into an additional bed. Furthermore a small bedside table, a wardrobe and a desk.
- Bedroom Three has a french-sized double bed (200 x 140 cm) and a bed for small children (140 x 70 cm), a wardrobe and a table.
In addition the house has:
- a living room (with a couch, which can also be transformed into an additonal bed, satellite TV, DVD and CD-Player and radio as well as an open fireplace.
- a dining room
- a kitchen (electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer)
- a bathroom with tub and toilet
- a separate shower with another toilet.
In the cellar there is a laundry with washing-machine. The house has got an attached private garden.
The house is on one level and located in a small sidelane of a small road in a secluded area. There is aboslutely no through traffic as the small road as well as the small sidelane are both dead-ends. The road has got plenty of parking so there is normally no hassle in getting one.
The location is quiet and offers attractive possibilities for excursions and activities nearby. Some few examples:
- A golf course can be reached with 10 minutes both by car or by bicycle
- There are abundant possibilities for walks along the river Rhine 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bicycle
- Walks in a forest and small lakes are as well only 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bicycle
- Deer park, mini golf and the only open-air pool located in a forest in Cologne (of course open in summer only) is just 10-15 minutes by car.
The quiet and attractive location is ideally supplemented by the advantages of a main city and one can forget about traffic and parking problems in the inner city:
- A big supermarket, bakery pharmacy, snack bar and some other shops are in walking distance (less than 10 minutes)
- A small shopping mall can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot
- With the suburban rail network (big Park & Ride available) there are direct and fast connections. For example to the trade fair in 13 minutes and to the main railway station and the Musical Dome in 15 minutes
- The tram takes you in just 15 minutes to the front of the Köln-Arena (many events are being held there) and in 23 minutes to the city center (Neumarkt)
Routing:
Plane: from airport Cologne-Bonn easiest by taxi (approximately €25), cheaper with public transport in 35-45 minutes (depending on the connection), but then you will have to change trains once.
Car: take highway no. A3, exit Köln-Mülheim or Köln-Dellbrück
Public transport: in 23 minutes from the city center (Neumarkt) by tram number Four (direction: Schlebusch) and then a little less than one kilometer on foot.
Alternatively in 15 minutes by suburban railway no.6 (direction Essen, Düsseldorf, Langefeld) from the main railway station (we can fetch you from the local station).
