This family-owned Ridge Villa (Unit 1013-15) was recently renovated and boasts spectacular views of the ocean and the island of Molokai. The villa is ideally located just steps from the walkway that leads down to the secluded and beautiful Oneloa Beach. Only approximately a 2 minute walk from the villa, Oneloa Beach is terrific for boogie boarding or just taking in the breathtaking beauty of Kapalua. Other nearby beaches, including Kapalua Bay and D.T. Fleming Beach, are within 10 minutes walking, and both have been ranked by prior surveys as among the top five beaches in America. The Ritz Carlton hotel is also within a 10 minute walk as well as restaurants, the Honolua store, the Kapalua Golf Academy and the Kapalua Adventure Center. In addition, the soon to be open (scheduled for June 2009) Spa at Kapalua is a similar walk from the villa. Finally, the villa is perched conveniently above one of the Ridge pools, which are never crowded and always impeccably maintained. For families with children old enough to be independently down by the pool, the villa provides an easy way to periodically keep an eye on them. In addition, with two always immaculately cleaned gas barbecue grills in the pool patio area, staying home to grill doesn't get more convenient.
The villa sleeps up to 4 persons with a king bed in the master bedroom and two double beds in the other bedroom. Both bedrooms have full adjoining bathrooms with his and her sinks and walk-in closets. There is also a third guest bathroom that has a shower for the quick rinses after coming back from the beach or pool. With nearly 1800 sf of interior living space (plus an expansive wraparound lanai) all on one level, there is certainly enough space to accommodate additional persons to the extent it's needed. All rooms have new air conditioning units, but are often not needed given the quite pleasant trade winds that are characteristic of Kapalua.
As mentioned above, the villa was recently renovated with (i) new tile flooring and cabinets in the kitchen, bathrooms and entryway, (ii) new carpeting throughout, (iii) new appliances including a new washer/dryer, (iv) new fixtures, ceiling fans and air conditioning installed, (v) new living room and dining room furniture and (vi) bathroom upgrades. In addition, both the living room and master bedroom have flat panel televisions with a third television in the other bedroom. The villa also has its own (non-shared) covered parking space, but Kapalua also offers free shuttle service throughout the resort to the extent that you choose not to drive.
