Barefoot is an intimate, beachfront condo located on the water's edge of Simpson Bay Beach! This is a new, beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath villa located directly on Simpson Bay Beach at Palm Beach Condos - a new intimate and well designed gated community of only twenty-four units, all facing both the pool and the beach beyond. The layout was designed to give each unit a beautiful view of the sea, the pool and the lovely gardens.
The living area has cable TV and high quality CD/DVD system. Handwashed furniture and comfortable lounging chairs will enable you to relax/read in the evenings. Small bar for cocktails. Barefoot is fully air conditioned and has ceiling fans everywhere to keep you comfortable no matter what the temperature.
A quiet Inn is nearby and offers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with a laid back feel and honor bar. This pure sand beach is pristine; there is no "ledge" as you enter the sea. Brefoot is only a short drive to banks, drugstores, supermarkets, video stores, casinos, theaters, restaurants, watersports, hairdressing salons, massage centers, gyms, cybercafe, shopping, car rentals. It is about 15 minutes to Philipsburg and Marigot, the capitals of St. Maarten and St. Martin.

Just got home from our(two couples) week at your beautiful condo. The accomodations were cozy and just as advertised. We were greeted by the property manager and have nothing negative to say about our experience. The AC in one bedroom was not cooling sufficiently and with one phone call was remedied immediately. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves and the view was outstanding! We all loved the wrap around porch and spent a lot of time there mornings and evenings with captivating sunrises and sunsets! We spent most of our nights at the local casino's and we toured the island extensively and found some great snorkeling spots. A great time was had by our group of four. This was my first time to book with VRBO and I am sold on the experience after this. My sister and I are planning a trip to Europe next year and will do the same>Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Spent a week here in February 2012 and the condo is everything it says and more. We are two adult couples so the ensuite baths were perfect. The extra half bath a welcome perk. The managers, Bill and Mary, attended to our every concern in a prompt and friendly manner. The condo has such a homey feel and the owner has thought of everything! We were greeted with a welcome basket of drinks and light snacks and a cell phone with time already on it. There were beach towels, beach chairs, floats, cooler, umbrellas and anything else you may need for a wonderful beach vacation. You literally walk out of the living room one from one of three sliding glass doors onto a covered stone porch with comfortable chairs, then directly onto your own private beach area with chaise lounges. A small fence and sloped hill separates you from the public beach directly in front of you. The ocean is shallow and is excellent for floating around and snorkeling. Not many fish to see, but the water is clear and beautiful. Another set of sliding glass doors leads you to the pool and more lounge chairs. The living area of the house is a bit smallish, but outside is where you will be. The beds were comfortable pillow top mattresses with soft sheets. We would put the hurricane shutters down at night and were able to sleep late in quiet darkness. There is also a sliding glass door in the large master bedroom. The second bedroom is larger then usual and both bathrooms were a nice size. Many of the neighbors we met at the pool owned condos and spent several months there. They were so friendly and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants. It was like your own community. You're within walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores. The few seconds you have to pause a conversation for the planes to pass over your head is well worth the minor inconvenience for this spectacular location. It is the best beach area on Simpson Bay Beach. I have some great photos if you want to see more of this beautiful place. We highly recommend this condo!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.
