This brand new, traditional Charleston style home in Vanderhorst Plantation is the second home of a renowned New York City art dealer. It is filled with works from some of his favorite contemporary artists, as well as museum quality historic fine art, paintings, sculpture, and antique furniture and lighting fixtures. The owners commissioned Master Carver Elaine Arnold to represent the flora and fauna of Kiawah wildlife, in the newell post at the base of the stairs and the fireplace surround. These magnificent carvings depict herons, pelicans, egrets, camellias, pine and live oak, and even a few fairies! This home was one of five homes featured in the prestigious Spring 2006 Kiawah House and Art Tour.
