Your romantic seaside vacation retreat. Imagine breakfast on your lanai with the ocean just below. You're visited by brilliant red-headed birds that fly over from nearby coco-palms. As you linger, you feel the stress and tension of life evaporate. With effort you get up and out to experience the varieties of sights, sounds and activities that abound on the "Big Island" of Hawaii.
One of the great hidden features of Kona Bali Kai, the reef and tide pool, is right before your eyes. We've spent many hours observing the teeming life in this wonderful marine habitat. Previous guests have reported sightings of whales and sea turtles from the lanai. When evening approaches you return to your island getaway and back to the lanai to enjoy a spectacular sunset. With luck and a clear horizon you may spot the elusive "green flash." It will be hard to say Aloha to all this at the end of your visit. But, remember, Aloha means, "until we meet again."

We stay at the condo in June 2007 and expect to return in 2009. I have only good things to say about this place. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities of home. And I must mention the spectacular view - an unobstructed view of the ocean and beautiful sunset. The Kona Bail Kai complex is safe, clean, quiet, and conveniently located near downtown Kona. We are looking forward to a return visit.
