This year-round home on North Shore Dr., 1/2 mile S. of North Shore Beach Park, is directly across from Lake Michigan. Enjoy one mile of soft, white sandy beach just steps away down a private walkway with NO STEPS.
The cottage living room has a 35-inch cable TV, VCR/DVD player and ceiling fan. A three-season screened room with a glass-topped table and chairs is right off the living room for family games or extra seating for dining.
There are three bedrooms, Master Bedroom and Bedroom Two have queen beds, Bedroom Three has two sets of bunk-beds. All bedrooms have cable TVs. Linens and towels are included.
Dining area and kitchen are fully stocked and include refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. A convenient utility room with washer and dryer are on the first floor.
We are one of only a few homes that boast a beautiful, grassy full front yard for family games. A large attached rear deck has your patio furniture and barbecue grill and overlooks the private dunes.
Walk the North Pier and enjoy the freighters coming in the channel or a short walk to North Shore Beach Park has all the children's play equipment. Explore the soaring lakeshore Dune Walkways at the park. North Shore Marina is just down the street for all your boating needs. Grand Haven Shopping, Restaurants, Michigan Adventure Theme Park, Golf, Tennis are all only a short distance away.
Our home is comfortable, clean with everything supplied for you to enjoy your time at the beach. It is truly a beautiful area.

We had a great time. You cannot beat the private beach across the street! Loved bbqing on the deck and having coffee in the three seasons room. Quaint and comfortable this was the perfect cottage. We also enjoyed the park around the corner...quiet and ideal for a family get together. Washer/dryer and full cable tv's also made this cottage great. We will be back!

Our family has stayed at this property for the past 3 years, and we're excited to be coming back again this year. The house is clean and well maintained, and includes plenty of towels/ linens and kitchen/grilling items. The appliances have always been in good condition, and it is wonderful to have the washer/dryer to use. The grassy front yard is a favorite spot for ladder ball and general running around, and the patio is great for grilling, hanging out and reading. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The large kitchen table is perfect for our family dinners and playing games at night, and the living room is comfortable and has plenty of furniture to lounge around on. Although the view of the lake from the house is limited, the beach is just across the street and close enough to go back and forth throughout the day. It's a very nice, sandy beach - great for swimming, taking a long walk, making sandcastles or watching the sunset, and we've found that we usually have it all to ourselves. There are plenty of restaurants in nearby Grand Haven, and the kids wouldn't let us skip the great playground at Mulligan's Hollow. I would definitely recommend this property to families looking for a comfortable, relaxing beach vacation.

My family came for one reason - The Beach! This house did not disappoint. Beautiful white sand private beach just across a small street, large grassy front yard, and spacious deck to enjoy BBQs. The house was in fine shape (not brand-new) - clean and comfortable with everything we needed (plenty of towels, dishes, sand toys for the kids). We walked on the beach every day, and enjoyed the deck every evening. If you are looking for a charming vacation home with easy access to the beach and a short drive to Grand Haven - this is it. We're coming back this summer!

The house is very old. Downstairs area is livable and offers plenty of space. . However, the upstairs where all of the bedrooms are is "yack." Master bedroom and kids room could pass. However, third bedroom is not so nice -- smells. They have put air fresheners everywhere in the room to cover the smell. But it really did not work. NOTE: Air conditioning in master bedroom only. Beach is right across the street; private and beautiful. This would be such a gem if the house was in better shape.

This property certainly did not meet our expectations. The floors are slanted in most rooms, the stairs are very narrow and difficult to walk down. The plastic mattress covers created a sound every time we moved , which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. We were thankful we did not have to turn on the small air conditioner unit, it was so close to the bed it would have frozen us! The small rug in the sitting room sure could have used a good cleaning. The vacuum cleaner was not of much use, and the refrigerator would not close properly. There were plenty of linens and dishes, the beach was lovely, and the water warm. We felt like the poor relations looking across the street at a beautiful house wishing we were there! We would not recommend this property to a friend.

This cottage was in a good location! Close to a public beach with a great playground and good facilities. The cottage had everything we needed for grilling and sitting out on the deck. It was clean and well stocked with linens and supplies. Very spacious! The yard was great for kids to play in and to set up tents to sleep in. Only draw back was there was little to no view of the lake from the cottage, due to a new house across the street. Loved our stay here!
