  This is a very quaint older home with much charm in design and natural woodwork. This functioned well for our family as we were in Omaha to visit an elderly relative and found the rental to meet our needs for sleeping arrangements, cooking facilities and ease of getting around Omaha via freeway and city streets. If you go to Omaha, I would recommend this rental for quality and price. Also, please visit the Pioneer Courage Park and enjoy a great cultural meal at the Bohemian Cafe whose slogan is "Czech us Out!"

  This house is just what we needed! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils for alot of people, the furniture and beds are very comfy! The owners are great to work with and reply quickly with answers. We have stayed here twice and hope to be back again!

  I am a pharmacy student at Creighton University in Omaha. As a distance student, I am required to be in Omaha for approximately 2 weeks every summer. This year 5 other students and I rented Keith and Rebecca's beautiful home. I couldn't say enough great things about our experience. The house was very well maintained and roomy. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well-appointed. The patio, which we used extensively, was perfect in the cool evenings for grilling out and for impromptu card games. We only had one small issue while we were there, and Rebecca was quick to guide us into getting it taken care of. (Don't run the attic-room AC, the television in the living room, the central AC, and the washer and dryer at the same time!) The location of the house was also really great, as it allowed quick and easy access both to campus and to other things to do in Omaha. One benefit that we enjoyed that I haven't seen many reviewers mention is the paved walking/running trail that is within walking distance of the house. It is a nice trail, I ran it twice and some of the other guys walked it while we were there. It really was a great all-around rental experience and we look forward to hopefully having the opportunity to visit this property again in future years.

  My family was coming in to Omaha from all directions for a wedding ... which happened to coincide with the College World Series. Hotels were hard to find, and especially hard to find at reasonable rates. When I came upon Rebecca's and Keith's home, it was the perfect solution. Not only could we be near each other, but we had those special morning and evening hours of chatter which will live on for a long time to come. The house was beautiful, charming and homey, with more than enough of everything we needed. My teenage daughter loved having an attic bedroom to escape to. We also found the Field Club walking trail only a block away for getting out and walking off all those family meals! Perfect spot.

  We met our daughter and family from Ohio and us from Denver and parents from Chicago for a 4 generation family reunion for a long weekend. Amazing how in less than a day, we could get together! Home with 5 bedrooms was perfect with plenty of visiting space on patio, living room and kitchen. Large yard and play area for grandkids. Also plenty to do in Omaha at zoo and water park+. This house felt like home in no time with a crib for our youngest to things to do for our teens.

  We spent 5 days here for a wedding. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and there was more than enough room for us to remain comfortable. The house itself is in a super convenient location; close to everything. We really enjoyed the children's museum and the zoo. It is also close to the field club trail which we enjoyed walking on. The house was clean and well stocked. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this place to my friends.

  Our family stayed in this home last year for a high school sporiting event. The location was great, home was very clean and comfortable. It worked so well that we are hoping to stay again in 2012!

  I’ve got only good things to say about this house and our experience. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room. The house is easy to get to and in a good location. The covered patio off the kitchen was sweet – we spent a lot of our time out there even when it was raining. Keith was very accessible when we had questions about the internet. We did run into two unexpected things after we paid for the house: There is a tenant living in the basement of this enormous house; and bed sheets are to be washed before checking out. I haven’t run across either of these in our past vbro experiences. But neither caused problems and both ultimately just became something to joke about.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We rented Keith and Rebbeca's house for my son's graduation in early June. We had a great time, it was centrally located to any where you needed to go, just jumped on Dodge Street. The house has plenty of room for everyone and was stocked for family use. My favorite spot was the back patio area, sitting out side enjoying the weather until late night, even had the chance to grill out one night. We will be calling if the need comes up again for a rental in Omaha.

  Admittedly, I read the negative review the day before we were to gather. Decided to go with it anyway. Too late to change plans. Having read the bad review I expected ithe place to be dirty & furnished with stuff that long out-lived their life expectantcy. The house was most comfortable and cozy. The furnished were not all used up & it was obvious the owners put much attention to the upkeep. 2 of us are cooks & were very pleased and pleasantly surprised @ how well the kitchen was equipped and stocked. As for the location, no problem for us with the location. We were not in fear at any time for our safety. Regarding the owners: They were very prompt with answers to any questions & concerns. We found them to be most accommodating. We had a great time. No problem giving a great review on this site. Sometimes people get a burr up their hindends & take it out on others. Too bad.
