We met our daughter and family from Ohio and us from Denver and parents from Chicago for a 4 generation family reunion for a long weekend. Amazing how in less than a day, we could get together! Home with 5 bedrooms was perfect with plenty of visiting space on patio, living room and kitchen. Large yard and play area for grandkids. Also plenty to do in Omaha at zoo and water park+. This house felt like home in no time with a crib for our youngest to things to do for our teens.

We spent 5 days here for a wedding. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and there was more than enough room for us to remain comfortable. The house itself is in a super convenient location; close to everything. We really enjoyed the children's museum and the zoo. It is also close to the field club trail which we enjoyed walking on. The house was clean and well stocked. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this place to my friends.
Owner response:It is super convenient and so is Omaha so that makes it doubly convenient! Congrats to you and yours! The zoo is a great option for next time. Rebecca

I’ve got only good things to say about this house and our experience. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room. The house is easy to get to and in a good location. The covered patio off the kitchen was sweet – we spent a lot of our time out there even when it was raining. Keith was very accessible when we had questions about the internet. We did run into two unexpected things after we paid for the house: There is a tenant living in the basement of this enormous house; and bed sheets are to be washed before checking out. I haven’t run across either of these in our past vbro experiences. But neither caused problems and both ultimately just became something to joke about.
Owner response:Thanks Mary Jo. You left the home 5 stars (out of 4) which is our highest rating. Why we send you our best customer discount for future stays. Cleaning costs are high enough and if you add several loads of laundry, it would make the price go up. Attitude is everything; I'm glad you have a great attitude. Thanks again; we hope to see you again soon.

We rented Keith and Rebbeca's house for my son's graduation in early June. We had a great time, it was centrally located to any where you needed to go, just jumped on Dodge Street. The house has plenty of room for everyone and was stocked for family use. My favorite spot was the back patio area, sitting out side enjoying the weather until late night, even had the chance to grill out one night. We will be calling if the need comes up again for a rental in Omaha.

Admittedly, I read the negative review the day before we were to gather. Decided to go with it anyway. Too late to change plans. Having read the bad review I expected ithe place to be dirty & furnished with stuff that long out-lived their life expectantcy. The house was most comfortable and cozy. The furnished were not all used up & it was obvious the owners put much attention to the upkeep. 2 of us are cooks & were very pleased and pleasantly surprised @ how well the kitchen was equipped and stocked. As for the location, no problem for us with the location. We were not in fear at any time for our safety. Regarding the owners: They were very prompt with answers to any questions & concerns. We found them to be most accommodating. We had a great time. No problem giving a great review on this site. Sometimes people get a burr up their hindends & take it out on others. Too bad.
Owner response:You're on our A-team Jackie. You are fun to work with - it's been a pleasure. We look forward to you coming back and also visiting Colorado. Next upgrades: big new TV and tile for the main floor shower.

Our family stayed in this home last year for a high school sporiting event. The location was great, home was very clean and comfortable. It worked so well that we are hoping to stay again in 2012!
Owner response:It warms our heart when we receive a returning customer reservation. Thanks for taking the time to write too. We look forward to having you come back next year. I happen to be here at the house right now working on my punch list (always something to improve)! Keith

The house had so much space! It was perfect because everyone had their own room plus the kitchen was fully loaded and there was a good area to relax in the family room! I would def rent this again! Plus Keith was so helpful and very responsive with any questions I had regarding the rental (since it was a little last minute).

We were looking for a place to stay while we were attending my neice's wedding this past July. Once we were able to get into the house we did not quite find the amenities as listed and some were available at additional charge. Internet access was locked away. The few bedrooms were acceptable but with pretty comfortable beds. We were required to wait for someone to open up bedrooms when the rest of my family arrived missing out on one of the wedding events. We did not feel safe or secure inside this house, but found the neighborhood safe and the central location one of the best in Omaha. I would not recommend this property.
Owner response:We're always sorry when we get naughty folks. First you tried to get a free night by telling us you could not get in. Then you had to fess up you had several more folks planned at the home than you were willing to tell us about before arrival. We ARE sorry that we did not come out and tell you before arrival that one couple and one single were only going to have access to 2 bedrooms (all you'd need). Even naughty folks deserve our respect. Now we tell folks in advance to 'encourage' honesty. Also because of you, we added the new third rule last year: "be honest". This was my home when and I lived here alone. I aways felt safe. It is a safe area. Rebecca

I rented Keith's home in January for a week for several family members. It was the best deal available and the beautiful spacious accommodations exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend renting this home as opposed to a hotel. We will definitely rent again.

My family flew into Omaha to attend my wedding. We had them stay in Keith and Rebecca's beautiful and spacious vacation home. They had a great time and everything was perfect! The vacation house provided most of the amenities (e.g. internet access, kitchen utensils, towels) and the location is great. We will definitely rent this house again.
Owner response:C, Thank you and thank you too for your kind words you sent to us personally. Keith

We stayed here in the spring of 2009 for a college graduation, and everything was perfect! The location is great, and the house was very clean and well-stocked. It's particularly great for runners, as you're right by Omaha's Keystone Trail. We'll surely be back!
Owner response:Thanks Michelle, appreciate the feedback.

We rented this house for a girls weekend the end of September. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. The location was great and easy access. The house was beautiful and plenty of room for us girls to spread out. We ended up cooking our meals there instead of eating out. We spent more time visiting. It was a perfect weekend! The owners were very nice and helpful. The only downfall was the check out time. Instead of 10:00 they should consider moving it to 11:00 without an extra charge. We will be renting this house again!

We stayed at Keith's place for week in 2009 for the Omaha/Council Bluffs regional bridge tournament. It was the perfect place. Away from the crowd and a chance to enjoy the quiet neighborhood. However, our school board now wants us to report early and we can not enjoy the place again this year. We are planning on returning in 2011. It is a great place to stay. Beats a hotel/motel hands down.
Owner response:It was a pleasure to talk to you on the phone and converse over email. We'll have to schedule ourselves there so we can meet next year. I know Warren Buffett is an avid bridge player!

I was on your page and wanted to email you a review on the house, but had a problem with the email button. I just wanted to say... We are from Hawaii and went to Omaha to attend my son's graduation from Creighton University. We had numerous questions and Keith patiently answered each and every one. This home is on a corner lot in a very quiet convenient neighborhood with garage parking and street parking. It is centrally located between Creighton University and University of Nebraska at Omaha. It is close to the airport and has very easy access to the freeway, main roads, shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. Their description of the house features on the website is exactly as promised, no disappointments. My family and I want to thank Keith and Rebecca for sharing their beautiful home with us. We would definitely recommend this home to our family and friends. Mahalo nui, Roberta

We stayed here for a week in July. My father lives in the Old Market (downtown) and my son was attending a camp at Creighton. It was very easy to get to both places. The house was huge and beautiful. It was perfect for our stay. My sister works at Nebraska Med Center and came over one day after work and said some of her co-workers have to park farther than it was from there to the house. I hope we can stay there again. Hi Mary, I'll bet your dad knows Rebecca's dad since he also lives in the old market! Thanks so much for taking the time to give us your feedback.

We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, comfortable accommodations that Keith & Rebecca offered. The location was quiet, but convenient and not too far from a hiking trail. Traveling with my brother made it especially nice to be able to spread out. Keith made this, our first VRBO rental, easy and welcoming. We did so enjoy his hand-holding and making everything go smoothly. Thank you Jane. It really was a pleasure sharing our home and conversing with you.
