We were lucky to get a last minute 2 night reservation the week of October 24. The cottage exceeded our expectations with an updated decor, new appliances, a wonderfully stocked kitchen (including coffee supplies in case you forget them), updated bathroom fixtures & a small but wonderful master bedroom including a very comfortable bed, fluffy linens & flat screen TV. Despite the updates it still has a cottage-like feel. The views of the bay from the living room, screen porch & master bedroom were incredible. If the weather had been warmer, the screened front porch is where we would have spent most of our time! The cottage is situated to give you privacy while indoors despite the neighbors' close proximity. The orchard across the street adds to the very quiet & relaxed experience. Tom was a wonderful host and obviously takes a lot of pride in this cottage. We hope to return someday soon!
