This lovely two story, three bedroom, two bath home is just a short walk to our private lake front park that includes three boat ramps, beach, playground, basketball court, BBQ grills, picnic tables and nature trails. After a full day of swimming, boating, tennis or golf, you can return home and wind down by watching the magnificent Texas sunsets from the large deck which faces west. The large kitchen table is perfect for family dinners or playing cards and board games. Before retiring, you may want to fix some snacks and snuggle up on the couch to watch a favorite movie or show on the 55 inch large screen TV. With the stars of Texas twinkling above and surrounded by nature’s aroma therapy, you will enjoy a restful night’s sleep like never before.
Point Venture is a delightful community, nestled on a private peninsula, with fun activities for the entire family! Point Venture amenities include swimming in a Jr. Olympic-sized pool, playing a round of golf on the nine-hole golf course or playing tennis on one of six courts. Point Venture has a full service marina, a 50+ waterfront park with three boat ramps and is home to Shades, Austin’s well-known floating restaurant.

This home was perfect for a getaway. We had a fantastic time. The amenities and the easy access to the lake was a plus! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice, comfortable home for a little getaway and to enjoy Austin's beautiful scenery. However, the two rooms on the first floor were small, but other than that it was perfect. Leslie was also really nice to deal with.

This home was the perfect get away for my family. The sunset overlooking the lake from the front porch was breathtaking. My two boys (2 and 4) loved the "forrest" that surrounds the home. Plenty of room to run and play, along with chances to see the deer. The interior was exactly as described and provided plenty of room for the family to play games and enjoy each other. The private boat dock and large park was also a bonus. Close enough to civilization, but far from the hustle and bustle. Loved it and will be returning next year.

I stayed at this house last year with several friends (Boston to Austin) The ad was EXACTLY as we found the house and then some ~ the views were spectacular, the place was clean and superbly maintained, and the proximity to all of the local spots was awesome! Although it was tough to leave the serenity of this beautiful house, our trip to the pool was memorable... as well as the drive into downtown Austin for some singing and dancing! I would not hesitate to stay in this house again and again and again....slept all 12 of us quite comfortably...and the decks accomodated our nightly barbeques (brisket and margaritas) without a problem! The gigantic TV was great~the owners were wonderful to deal with and very responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend a trip to the Oasis and Pete's Dualing Piano Bar to make your vacation at Point Venture complete! If ten stars was an option, I'd choose it! RENT THIS HOUSE~

I stayed at this house during July 4th weekend with a large group of friends. We really had a blast at this house. It was cozy yet enough room to move around freely. Also, the views from the balcony were phenomenal. It was very clean and well kept as well. I would definitely recommend this house to others who are looking for a nice getaway.

Our group really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space, nice views. REALLY CLOSE TO THE WATER. Lots of bedrooms and beds for everyone. Each room gave space for the kids and grown ups to have privacy and together time. We had a blast playing card games, at the lake and the pool. Very tranquil. We will definitely be looking to come again and spend more time there. THANK YOU!!

Very nice view from the deckhouse, was extremely quiet and peaceful. Great place for a family to take a vacation at. Locals were very friendly and helpful. Marina in the neighborhood was able to accommodate you with boat rental's and a restaurant. House was very maintained. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for renting the house to us, we enjoyed it. It's a cozy house and the outdoor setting is wonderful. The kids enjoyed seeing all the deers and fawns. We enjoyed the lake and the picnic area. We will definitely be back. It's a very relaxing place!
